We haven't had a wedding in over a year! I don't foresee anymore weddings for some time untill the younger generation starts getting married. Boo! I miss going to weddings! Lol

Nope. One the last weekend in September and one the first weekend in October. I feel like the fall is busier for weddings than the spring or summer the last few years!

We have our one and only for the season on Saturday. Its my brothers wedding, and I'm excited for it, but will be glad when its over. I'm the matron of honor, and she also has a maid of honor. The maid of honor has been flaky and quite crazy.

We have our first wedding for the year this weekend, then another in oct. I haven't been to a weddig since before I got pregnant! C is not invited to either, but I wouldn't bring her anyway- they will go way past her bedtime.
The oct one is near my parents house and we are going to leave c there overnight. It will be my first night away from her and I am already so nervous! (For me, not her- she will be fine )

@bunnylove08: Oh, did you end up going to BIL's?
grapefruit / 4442 posts
@autumnlove: Yes and it was a crazy experience, because DH is even more upset with them since he ended up making a speech (after FIL pressured him to) and the bride turn her back on him and walked away.

No... We just couldn't go to 2 this month, and there's another one in Dec that we wouldn't be going to since I'm due then!

@bunnylove08: I'm glad that is over for your family!

Nope - one more in October and no dates known for 2015 weddings. If we stay wedding free it will be the first time since 2007 I haven't been to a wedding!

Strangely enough, it's just getting started for us! We attended one wedding in April, one last weekend, and have THREE in October! Crazytown.

We only had one this year! Our friends are mostly all already married. I don't think we really have any single friends left!

We didn't have any weddings this season (I'm sooooo popular ). However, I do have one next year that I am pretty excited about!

Yep. We weren't able to attend the weddings we were invited to this year (short notice and one was canceled). Two of my cousins are getting married next year.

I'm a little sad...we had our last wedding LAST November. All of our friends/siblings are now married! The only one left is my BIL, and prospects are not looking good for him. I think we've attended our last wedding!

We thought we had one on October 18, and then found out last weekend that we have TWO on October 18! (Who sends out invites 1.5 months before the wedding? Maybe we are second wave invitees?? ) Luckily they're in the same area and we might try to hit up one ceremony and the other's reception. Yikes!

We have two this weekend - on the Friday and the Saturday - then we are done for the year I think.

We actually weren't invited to any in the summer months but are invited to 3 in October! We won't make it to all of them though.

Have two coming up. Early October and early November. Any tips on keeping a 3 yr old occupied and quiet during a ceremony??!

One in Nov and just attended one this weekend. I havent been to a wedding in a few years but my BIl got married this year and he is younger than us and DHs boss is having his 2nd wedding in Nov. I have another one next August as well.

Well I'm a wedding photographer so nope! Weddings til mid Novemeber for me.

We currently have no more on the calendar this year. We're both in one after the new year, though. Weddings seem to be more popular in the fall and winter in these parts. It's too hot the rest of the year and practically everyone has an outdoor wedding and/or reception.

Nope, my brother-in-law is getting married this weekend. Also, an uncle is getting married the following weekend, but we're unable to make it - it's on the other side of the country and we have a prior engagement the day before. Two other weddings that we didn't/won't make it to, were a cousin's wedding in mid-July (I was traveling for work), and another cousin's wedding to take place on Dec. 31st.
We have such a massive family (35+ first cousins, and 21 aunts/uncles - not including their spouses) that there are always weddings that I don't get to (my family is spread coast-to-coast, but I live a 4 hr flight from where we all grew up). So I stopped feeling bad about it a long time ago.

I did travel home for the wedding of my best friend growing up earlier this month. It was a blast! And my friend was so excited by our news. We told them a week before the wedding so as not to steal the show the day of.

I haven't been to a wedding in years! All my friends are already married around here, lol.

Yup - all done for this year. We had three weddings we had to attend, one of which was my sister's. I was MOH for that one. We have two weddings next year so far and it's looking like there will be another as well. All family.
