I get like 1oz from my left side and almost 4oz from my right during a pumping session at work. Is this normal?
LO drinks about 5oz from a bottle so this is great...just such a dramatic difference. Haha

I don't pump often, but when I do (and even judging from how full I feel), my right side has a lot more milk than my left.

Yep. I produced more from one side. I can't remember which side though!

my over-producer was the left. it was filling up nursing pads with colostrum while I was still pregnant and always made at least 2x what the right did. I think near the end of nursing (18 mo for me) the right had completely given up and only the left had milk.

Omg! I wish i could pump that much! My right side produces more fore sure. It weird cause I always thought my left produced more.

I don't pump but my right side always feels more full. But my left has a more forceful letdown.

Yep, I normally get 1-2 oz from the left and 3-4 oz from the right.

My right boob is usually my lazy boob, but they have switched before. Usually I get at least an ounce more from my left boob.

Yes! When I pumped, my right side always produced twice the amount as the left. No matter what I did, it never evened out.

@Danizaur: almost always! One of my pumping friends says "lefts a stud, rights a dud!"

Always more in my right. I think now at 16 months my left has nothin. DS is only on that said for like a second.

My left one was always better to pump. I don't think the amount of milk it produced was more than the right one did. The right one just didn't like getting pumped

My right has always produced less, sometimes half. It is weird to me because when we were just starting, it was my left that I had major problems with with cracking, bleeding and sheer, excruciating pain. Yet, that is my great producing side.
You can help even them out by adding more pumping/feeding time to the lesser producing side.

Leftie is more productive for me. But if I pump for longer (like 20-25 minutes) they even out.
Also, taking lecithin evens them out a bit too. Rightie is just slow.

@Mrs Hedgehog: my right side was the excruciatingly painful side in the beginning too and now it's my mass producer! Weird.

My left side used to produce way more than my right, but once I went back to work, it's evened out. They're probably within an ounce of each other now.
