The kids are both off today because of the federal holiday, so I'm taking them to a local garden that has an indoors conservatory. They have some event that I think the kids will get a kick out of. Dreading going out in the cold though!
Then Bee will take the kids for the afternoon - that way, we both have a few hours to work.

I'm off today. LO and I are making chocolate sugar cookies. I'm going to make a couple of meals and do some cleaning. DH has to go out today for 4 hours but is putting LO to bed tonight so I will have some time later to decompress before work tomorrow. DH will be home with LO all this week since he's off of work and our nanny is visiting family.

Regular work day for me but we had a snowstorm last night so I opted to work from home! DW is on teaching leave this semester so only has to go in for meetings and is also working from home at the moment.

Woke up with my first bout of morning sickness... I think it's a gift from the baby(s). Welcome to ultrasound day and here is some morning sickness to make you feel complete! Ultrasound is later today! Should be able to see the number of gestational sacs. We may or may not hear heart beats since I'm only 5w4d.
ETA: Oh, I'm at work today. Trying to get work done before the u/s.

Battling a stomach bug while watching L play while her daddy is at school Hoping she doesn't get sick but her immune system seems stronger than mine. I had a bladder infection just a few days ago and I can barely keep the antibiotic down...can't catch a break right now. At least L is a pretty great independent player (for a 1 year old) as long as I watch her. She's playing with her little piano right now.

E and I made blueberry pancakes this morning and D and I brought him into daycare late so we could go look at a house (it was a bust). I'm eating lunch now, and as soon as I can work up the motivation really need to deep clean the apartment before I pick E up.

Took DD to the doctor for a sick visit while DS was with some friends this morning... I'm hoping the kids wake up happy (and hopefully DD feels better) this afternoon... I might be running errands after bedtime tonight to get out of the house a little.

Sorry to all the previous posters but we're enjoying our gorgeous holiday weekend weather.
We tackled our first home maintenance project this morning: cleaning the deck to prep it for refinishing. LO pooped in the potty, we ordered new window treatments for the guest room, I organized LOs dresser and stored my non maternity clothes. We've been pretty productive since it's not even 11am. Maybe I'm nesting early.
This afternoon we're visiting friends and prepping for LOs party next weekend.
