@mrswin: Thanks for the link with the embryo photos! Mine definitely didn't look like the hatching one on that site- I think mine must've been just getting started!

@FliegepilzHut: heat waves in the winter months are no strange thing here and its usually no surprise to have days in the mid 70's at Christmas but I feel like our heat waves are getting longer and more frequent in the winters. Global warming?! Just want it to feel like the holidays and this heat is a Christmas spirit mood killer ha. How are you feeling?
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@Mrs.Pinecone316: That is worrisome. We're also prone to crazy temperature fluctuations here...but at least we shouldn't need to turn the A/C back on. I'm feeling great! Can't believe DH got me out of the house on Black Friday, though!

@FliegepilzHut: The 6th! Definitely not going to hold out that long, though! Will home test early next week I think.

@momazon: Very good! I haven't decided exactly when I'm going to test, but almost certainly before the 8th! Everything crossed for you!!!

Ok I held out for all of five days past transfer this time. I have no willpower! But I'm glad because there's a definite line! It's faint, but it's there!
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@momazon: OMGoodness!!! Absolutely everything crossed for you right now!
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@momazon: Nope...totally there! Remind me...you don't get HCG as part of your cycle at all, right? I am SO VERY EXCITED for you!!!!
kiwi / 613 posts
@FliegepilzHut: I do, but the trigger had always been out of my system before this time in previous cycles if I've tested it out. I didn't test it out this time, though, but hopefully I'm safe with that. We will see when I retest on Monday!

@momazon: That sounds solid to me. Hopefully yours will be the first in a long string of 's!!!

@momazon: congrats!!! so awesome seeing your update!! so happy for you!
@FLIEGEPILZHUT: so glad to hear your transfer went well! thank you for the link also. there are some moments during the days where my anxiety just creeps up on me and i just have to remember that what's done is done...i'll have my answer soon enough. but this wait is SO HARD!!! i hope you are doing well!
like last time, i'm gonna TRY not to test, but you never know. keeping my fingers crossed @FLIEGEPILZHUT @greenthumb!!

@jaguar: @mama2em: Thank you!
@mama2em: Good luck trying not to test! I usually like to hold out a few more days, so at least it feels a bit more definitive, but I completely caved. :). Now I just need this one to stick! It's my last chance (before donor eggs), as none of our other embryos were of good enough quality to freeze.

@mama2em: It is so hard! I keep repeating to myself "I've done the best I could." I really, really hope that there are lots more 's to come! Thinking of you!

@momazon: That is fantastic!! Congratulations! So happy for you!!!
Tomorrow is my beta but I tested today so I don't think this was the cycle for us. This is a very tough blow especially after the chemical last time, too. Bad day . Maybe something special will happen tomorrow.

@GreenThumb: I'm so sorry about the negative for today. It's always such rough news to see. ((Hugs))

@GreenThumb: Rats. I'm so sorry! I've been running all the possible outcomes through my mind (I can't help it)...but nothing really prepares you. Sending lots of hugs!

@momazon: Congrats! That's wonderful!
@GreenThumb: I'm sorry for the BFN. *hugs*
IF and treatments have definitely taken over my world. Everything is compared to it now. I got a speeding ticket yesterday. I haven't been pulled over in over a decade. It was $250 bucks, but the problem is my insurance rates are going to go through the roof now probably and cost me well over a grand over the next SIX stinking years it remains on my record. DH was upset of course, but he went back out to buy something he saw earlier that day and he says to me, I could have bought seven of these for what this ticket is gonna cost us! And the first thing that comes out of my mouth was, "and you probably could have 20 of them for what this BABY is gonna cost us! OH WELL! Such is life, shit happens." Yup, world officially revolves around and gets compared to all things IF.

@GreenThumb: Crap. BFN's after IVF are just so awful... along with chems & losses, ya know? Big hugs.
persimmon / 1316 posts
@momazon: YESSSSS!!! That is a great line for 5dpt! I can't wait to see tomorrow. Congrats!
pomegranate / 3809 posts
I don't know if I should be upset or happy about this. My insurance finally processed my incomplete IVF cycle from September, and instead of being charged about 9k, I was charged a little over 4k, which was completely covered by insurance except for a copay. (I know, I should be happy about that, which I am). But then that means I had over 3k left before I reached my lifetime max and totally could have and would have done another cycle this year instead of wait until Jan! I feel like I totally wasted 3 months and a cycle waiting for nothing!

@PurplePumps: That is frustrating. Will you try to cycle this month (or would that likely land ER over the Christmas "break")?
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@FliegepilzHut: Its way too late, I'm mid cycle now and would have to wait for it to end and do my 2 weeks of BC first,it'll be new year by then.
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@PurplePumps: I'm so sorry. I hope you can really enjoy Christmas and New Year's Eve and get off to a great start in the New Year!
