@FliegepilzHut: Yay for being within the 48-72 hours! Are they making you do a third, or are you free until the ultrasound?
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@momazon: Nope, nothing for another whole week! I think this is a good thing...everything's hard, though.
ETA: Thinking of you...

No miracle news at the doc today, unfortunately - just confirmation of another miscarriage. So gutted. Just don't want to deal with any of it right now. I'll bounce back with a fresh start in the New Year, but for now, I need to let the sadness run its course. Ugh.

Just wanted to pop in and say I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! I know this time of year can be extra painful when it comes to infertility. The previous 2 years I definitely felt the sting of pain that comes with the struggle this time of year. I am staying hopeful that all of you will have a lo this time next year or even a very round and adorable baby bump. Love to you all

Has anyone ever gone in for a baseline ultrasound and had a follicle growing? I went this morning and there is a 10mm follicle in my left ovary. I'm worried my cycle is going to get canceled.

@Leialou: No experience... Maybe they will let you ovulate and still supplement progesterone? Or maybe they can suppress you with more Lupron?
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
@Leialou: I had one during one of my IUI cycles with Femera. My first clinic cancelled that cycle because they thought it was a cyst. (Oh, my first clinic didn't take blood) My current clinic would proceed as long as my E2 levels were fine. Have you called your clinic, did they seem concerned?
Hoping it's not a cyst and your E2 levels are fine!

@bluestriped bee: everything wound up fine! I don't know what my E2 levels were. The doctor was concerned about how thick my lining was. As of yesterday morning I hadn't had AF despite stopping bcp. She arrived last night though so I got clearance to start estrace. They didn't mention the follicle at all so my E2 levels must have been ok.

I need to go through and catch up on this thread! It's been months since I've been in IVF land.

@bluestriped bee: Gosh, I really hope that's true!!!!!
Still no AF here. I can't start my FET without it - and typically, she's MIA when I need her.

@FliegepilzHut: Thank you! Happy new year to you!
@jaguar: Yeah, I hope it's true, too.
Although, I have to admit that the thought of 2015 being a failure crossed my mind. If I have a m/c or a c/p, it could push us into 2016.
Anyway, pushing that thought out of my head and hoping 2015 will be our year. Gotta think positive!
Hoping AF shows up soon!!

@bluestriped bee: Happy New Year! We can finally say that your FET is just later THIS MONTH!!!! It's weird to think that we only have basically one chance to have a baby by the end of the year, but if we can at least be good and pregnant by next Christmas, things will be looking up!
@jaguar: I'm sorry your period hasn't shown up yet- with PCOS cycles can never be counted on to go as they should. :(. I'm surprised they don't do BCP to help keep things more on a schedule. Will they bring it on with Provera?
@FliegepilzHut: Hope you're doing well! Looking forward to news from your next ultrasound!!
@Leialou: Hope everything is going smoothly!
As for me, my bleeding has finally stopped from my miscarriage, and I had bloodwork this am to confirm if I've dropped to zero. We meet with the social worker soon to (hopefully) get cleared for the donor program. I'll start estrogen injections mid-month for a mock cycle to see how it goes with building my lining. Then, we can start looking through donor profiles and hopefully transfer in March.

@momazon: that's a good way of thinking of it. I would prefer to have a child in my arms but if it doesn't happen, I'll take being pregnant. It's better than the I've seen the last 3 years. Thank you for reminding me! Happy New Year to you and happy transfer month!! Yay!
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
@Leialou: that's great! You are so close to your transfer day!!! It's the 17th, right?
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@bluestriped bee: I would also definitely take just being pregnant in 2015!!! I have my odds set realistic this time.
@momazon: We did Femara + a trigger shot, so I SHOULD have ovulated. That just shows you how messed up my body is. I'm CD39 and no period/all BFNs. It's so crap!
How does the donor stuff work? Does your clinic organise that, or do you guys do the work there? x
@Leialou: Not far away!!!!
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@bluestriped bee: So very excited for you!
@momazon: Sending lots and lots of hugs! I'm so glad that you and your DH have your next steps! Wishing you the very best for 2015!
@Leialou: Eeeek! SO soon!
