@bluestriped bee: Hey, how you been! Any new u/s pics or updates? We don't want to freeze his swimmers. I'd need him here to drive too cause no one knows and I dont want to tell anyone. Work will never come before our personal life, so at worse, he doesn't go on his work trips. I'm leaning toward waiting until June though.
@jaguar: I'd definitely call on Monday for an update. We go though enough waiting with IF, I wouldn't be able to stand waiting until Tue, especially if I was supposed to be updated over the weekend.

Well, I've left another message now (it's Monday midday here) .... I'm booked in for transfer tomorrow at 11.45. God, I hope there's still something to transfer. I'm so anxious.

@jaguar: Well, what the heck?! That's frustrating. I am so soooo hopeful for you and your transfer tomorrow!

@jaguar: They would have to tell you if the thaw hadn't worked...right? That is frustrating though... FX for a great transfer tomorrow!!!

Finally got a quick reply from the nursing team:
Hi Aly,
The scientists usually would contact you if there was an issues, from what we can see on the database they have only thawed 3 embryos on Friday. As for how many are still developing at this stage we can't answer this question, so it must be all good news so far. Hope this helps a little bit!

@jaguar: they basically said nothing! I'd be frustrated...
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@Mrs. Jacks: The only bright side I can grab from that is that they didn't have to thaw all 8 of my frosties. So by reading that message, I'm assuming we still have 5 left.
blogger / pineapple / 12381 posts
@jaguar: that is good... But damn, if I ask for a call... Just call!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@Mrs. Jacks: Right??? Looks like tomorrow will be a big surprise.. I just hope we have a healthy blastocyst to transfer. So nervous!

@jaguar: I know! I'm really hopeful for you... Good lining right? This has to work!!!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@Mrs. Jacks: Lining was 9.3mm back on Thursday last week, so I'm really hopeful - but all depends on the emby.

@jaguar: Thinking of you today! I agree that defrosting 3 of 8 sounds very positive!!!

@jaguar: Ugh, that is so frustrating! Sounds like no news is good news though! FX that they are doing well!
I'm leaving it up to DH to decide on his work trip. They have a meeting in 10 minutes to discuss the trip. And he's deciding if he wants to go based on who else is going and if it will be a "fun" trip lol. Way for the both of us to dodge decision making huh? I told him I'm ok with either and that there's actually more pros for him going and us doing June, but if he decides to stay and not go on the trip, we'll do April.

@jaguar: So frustrating, but definitely good news about having 5 still in the freezer! This one is going to work!
@PurplePumps: I meant to reply to your post earlier… So tough that IF makes us put our "other" lives on hold sometimes (well, a lot of the time!). I think there is no wrong answer for you guys and his work trip. If April works, great! But June is right around the corner, too. It is so good that you are open to either option.
AFM - on Day 3 of Lupron. Only 5 more BCPs left. Transfer is just a month away! And we are leaving for a week in Florida on Wednesday. Let the relaxing begin!

@jaguar: just popping in to say good luck! I'm so hopeful for you!

Saddest looking embryo transferred this morning. Two out of our three didn't make it, and this one wasn't even a blasty yet. I'm so heartbroken. What more can go wrong for us?
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@jaguar: Oh sweetheart...I'm so sorry. I know there are lots of ladies here that were successful after Day#3 transfers...and that some of those pregnancies started with less-than-optimal-looking embies. Will your clinic remain firm (is it legislated?) on transferring only one at a time? Thinking lots of sticky and hopeful thoughts for you!
pear / 1986 posts
@jaguar: I am really sorry to hear this news - I've been thinking about you all morning! But I really hope that this little embie is the one. Sticky thoughts for you my dear!
blogger / pineapple / 12381 posts
@jaguar: maybe your little embie will do better inside! Fingers crossed

@jaguar: I know I haven't been around in a while (needed a little break after my miscarriage), but I just wanted to pop in and tell you that I am SO sorry! Sending lots of hugs your way! I definitely know that "what more can go wrong?" feeling...it's awful!

Onwards to another frozen cycle... gotta tell you girls, I'm starting to feel like this is never going to happen for us.

@jaguar: I'm really so sorry about this last FET for you! What are the next steps? Do you have more embryos frozen from the last fresh round? I'm holding onto hope for you!!

Gearing up for FET #3 coming up in less than 3 weeks. Feeling a little lonely out here because no one else is doing IVF right now!
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@GreenThumb: I'm still watching the IVF thread! I'm (impatiently) waiting to start Lupron again on May 27th and hopefully stims 5 days after that so I've been quiet here. I'll be out of my usual routine (going back to my parents house while DH is away, then Europe and visiting in laws) for 4-5 weeks so it'll be go by fast. How many are you transferring?
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@GreenThumb: I'm doing an FET round right now. We were going to do a HRT one (oestrogen/progesterone) but my FS has switched me back to Femara and a natural FET. So hopefully I'll ovulate in a few weeks time.

@GreenThumb: I mostly lurk, but I start lupron in 1 week. Hoping for an end of April or early May transfer

@GreenThumb: yay, less than three weeks! Please post so we can all cheer you on! I've been quiet because we were on vacation then we have just been waiting to complete a match with a donor for the past couple of weeks. So nothing to report except endless waiting, waiting, waiting! We are hoping to get started up again relatively soon. Good luck!!!!!

Hi! I am starting a fresh IVF cycle in about three weeks. I have done 3 cycles before resulting in LO #1. Only plan to transfer one at a time this go round so plan on it taking awhile.
