@jaguar: I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you are able to get your FET organized soon. Will the doctor induce AF with Provera after a certain point in time?
@Mrs.Pinecone316: I had the same thought...maybe I will join the due date board after my ultrasound, at least we will have each other right?! Thinking good thoughts for you on Tuesday
@GreenThumb: Hopefully your new insurance will have decent medication coverage for you and you can do another FET when you are settled
@Sunshine1810: Good wishes being sent your way for a successful cycle
@FliegepilzHut: I understand
@Jenn23: Good luck tomorrow. My ultrasound is tomorrow morning, hoping to see a heartbeat and be on track growth wise (6 weeks, 6 days)

@mrswin: Hey! thanks lovely. Yep, if no period by X date (to be determined today, I hope) I'll use provera again.

@momazon: Thanks! They are similar in that I am on the same meds, but she is changing the doses. Last time she wasn't sure how I would respond so she started me on a low dose of the Gonal-f and the Menopur, dropped the Menopur lower, and then doubled both of them when she saw I was responding slowly. This time she wants to try to keep me on a pretty even dose throughout my cycle, so I will be on the same dose of the Gonal and Menopur that I ended with the last cycle.
@macintosh: Yay! Congratulations!!!
@mrswin: Thank you!! Good luck with your ultrasound!

Back from my ultrasound! Everything is looking good at the moment, measuring right on track and the heartbeat was nice and strong at 130bmp I got a couple of pictures to go along with one from transfer day. Thank you ladies for being so incredibly supportive

@macintosh: Congrats!!!! That's exactly what my line looked like at that point, too. Yay!!!
@mrswin: Congrats! You must be so happy to have seen your little one!! That's awesome. Great heartbeat, too!!
We saw a small sac (what the tech said they usually expect at 5w3d) and often you don't see anything quite yet, so we were just happy to see something. We go back next Tuesday, so there should be a heartbeat by then. Can't wait for that one!! Waiting for my 2nd beta and progesterone levels soon. Hope they are OK!

Just got my 2nd beta and it's 1981. Just checked the math and if it had doubled exactly since last Monday it would have been about 1800 today, so seems good! My progesterone is back up in the 20's at 22 so that is good. Yay!

Hey Everyone, back from my trip. Doing better and better each day, almost all the OHSS weight is off but still pretty bloated. I feel a lot better just so exhausted all the time! Nervous for my ultrasounds tomorrow but excited too!
Ok, now time for all the congratulations...
@macintosh: Yayyyyy so happy to see that second line!! have you tested again to see if its gotten darker?
@mrswin: So happy your ultrasound went well!! How are you feeling now? More relief? Does it feel more real?
@Jenn23: So glad to hear you saw a sac and your betas doubled. Good news all around!
Hoping everyone else is doing well, I will try and catch up with everything else I missed.

@mrswin: That's lovely news!
@Jenn23: Yay for rising betas and a good U/S! Looking forward to more good news from your scan next week!

@Sunshine1810: @Jenn23: @momazon: @FliegepilzHut: Thanks ladies!
@Mrs.Pinecone316: I'm feeling ok generally, the fatigue is tough and I have random bouts of nausea from time to time but things are good for the most part. Weirdly it doesn't feel real at all...even looking at the u/s screen yesterday it didn't really register that we were looking at a baby inside me! LOL The reaction is pretty normal for me, when we plan a vacation I don't really get excited until we are on the plane I think once I really have a bump, feel movement, etc maybe it will sink in! Best of luck with your ultrasound today!

Thanks, everyone! Still super, super nervous but glad things are going well so far. I'm anxious for next week's ultrasound where we will see the heartbeat!
@mrswin: I know what you mean. With my son, I was the same way with the ultrasounds. Took awhile to really sink in!!
@Mrs.Pinecone316: Can't wait to hear how your ultrasound goes today!!! I'm so glad you are feeling better and the OHSS is almost gone. Yay!!!!

Hey all, I'm at work, but just popping in quickly because I just learned about this new rebate program for cash paying patients from Ferring. If you order 10 vials of Bravelle and 10 vials of Menopur, you can get 50% rebate on cost of Bravelle, 15% rebate on cost for Menopur, and 15% rebate on Endometrin and Novarel (trigger shot). You may also be able to stack the $50 off Endometrin coupon-- not sure.
Find the forms and the details and stuff here:
http://www.ivfgreenlight.com/
This is going to save us a ton of money this cycle-- I'm so excited! (Especially since we just paid $1500 for bloodwork this morning.)
If your local pharmacy doesn't accept it, I know that Freedom Fertility Pharmacy does.

@momazon: That's great!!! Anything to help reduce the costs is awesome. I'm so happy you can take advantage of this. I'm excited for you for your next cycle!!

Had my ultrasound this morning. And.... we have two babies in there! Heard both heart beats. They were measuring different in size, but the smaller one was on track it was the other one that was a week ahead. Hoping and praying they keep on growing!

@Mrs.Pinecone316: woo hoo! Twins! Congrats! One of mine was measuring behind in the beginning. But both were same exact weight when they were born!
persimmon / 1316 posts
@mrswin: thanks! Yesterday I think I just felt relief. I was so anxious before my appointment my heart was racing. I was so terrified of not seeing any heartbeat or more than 2 heart beats so to see two was wonderful. We all thought there could be 2 in there because of my betas and high bad my ohss got so it wasn't a shock.
@momazon: Thanks!
@FliegepilzHut: Thank you
@tequiero21: I have heard that can happen. always makes me feel better hearing it from others, thanks!
honeydew / 7968 posts
@Mrs.Pinecone316: yeah, was scary cuz they said one looked like it wouldn't make it. But at least your smaller one is measuring right.
nectarine / 2433 posts
@Mrs.Pinecone316: I know what you mean about the relief, the doctor even commented how "calm" I was before the ultrasound. I didn't bother to explain that I was the exact opposite of calm, I was super anxious and terrified which results in me being extremely quiet. It didn't help that they were 40 minutes late taking me for my appointment. I think it is a good thing that the smaller of the two was measuring on track. Remind me, were your blasts pretty different quality on transfer day?
persimmon / 1085 posts
@Mrs.Pinecone316: Ah, twins! Congratulations!!!!! How exciting! I'm so happy for you!
mrswin: Totally! To be honest, I wasn't sure that it was really going to happen (have a baby) until my son was in my arms! I'm sure I'll be the same this pregnancy, too. But I'm a worrier by nature anyway. So that doesn't help!!! lol
Morning sickness started this morning, two days shy of six weeks. Oh boy!@
persimmon / 1316 posts
@tequiero21: Yeah one of my friends was the same way as you, even no heart beat and then the next ultrasound they totally caught up and I've read so many stories of twins no measuring the same in the beginning so we will see what next one looks like!
@mrswin: They were both the same grade, 4 AA blasts. My doctor was concerned about either size and I know they can change a lot in size so just curious what next ultrasound will look like! When is your next one?
@Jenn23: Thanks:) Remind me when your next ultrasound is again? Bummer about the morning sickness! I haven't had any yet but also not much of an appetite. I can eat but I have no craving for anything. Hope you can keep some food down!
persimmon / 1316 posts
@mrswin: @Jenn23: I finally jumped on over to the April Boards, hope to see you ladies there soon
@Sunshine1810: Thanks!
Anyone have anything exciting going on this week? It's hard to keep track sometimes.. anyone testing? more ultrasounds? Stims?
I have nothing going on for almost 2 weeks so I need to live vicariously through you
