Does anyone know when we do the GD test? I can't remember from #1 but I feel like it was around 25 weeks?

@RsMom: we weren't the first time, but this time we don't really need to buy anything either way, so I talked DH into it.

@mrs.shinerbock: Baby girl wouldn't cooperate either. I had to roll all over the table and have my belly jiggled to at least get the gender revealed. But she wouldn't show her face so I have to go back.

The panda in the DC zoo had cubs this week and today was the gender reveal for the one that lived so I kept joking that I hoped I was pregnant with a baby and not a panda cub. The panda got pregnant around April too.

I decided to go ahead with the amnio on Tuesday & got the quick results back today - all normal for T13, T18, & T21.
Aaaaaaaaand.
It's a BOY!
(Currently super thrilled and also cursing cuz damnit! I wanted a girl! Lol).

@sera_87: Hendricks is a great name! Definitely like it better with the 's'. Kind of goes with the name I'm desperately trying to convince Hubs to agree to for Babygirl - Lennon. I'm completely in love and he's totally "meh" on it.

@MaryM: wow they look so tiny! When I look at baby clothes at the store I'm always shocked at how tiny the newborn or 0-3 month clothes are - I can't believe how tiny and cute they are

After no luck finding maternity work pants at three secondhand stores and two discount stores, I walked into an Old Navy that was having a storewide sale. I didn't have much hope bc I thought there'd only be one option, based on what I saw online. Instead, I ended up getting 2 different styles, both discontinued (thus not online) and they rang up at 58 CENTS EACH! Crazy!! I felt like I was robbing the store!!! Good thing I also was buying 4 shirts

Finally, it is the 31st! We have our scan this afternoon and I cant wait to see the little one. We won't find out the sex until this weekend as we are doing a small gender reveal cook-out with our families since my husbands family will be up visiting. Something tells be it is going to be a long week.

My scan is this morning too. It'll be the first time seeing baby sister and being prepared for it. Both my dating scan and NT scan happened so soon after my pregnancy test that i was still in too much shock to savor the experience. I'm really looking forward to seeing her today. -

Just had my scan. He's still a boy and has all his parts. Heart looks good. She said it estimates he weighs 1lb 3oz already. Big boy. He was sucking his thumb. Here's a pic!

@brady80: I think mine is around 28 weeks. Last time they gave me the drink at the appointment before, so I could drink it in advance. I did not find it too bad, and I am usually not a fan of anything too sweet, especially during pregnancy.
Right now Zachary (Zach) is our leading contender for names, but DH likes to change his mind.
We got DS a doll to get him used to the idea of a baby, and for him to practice "helping" with, and he really likes it. I have to say, I am annoyed at how hard it is to find a boy doll.
