    Cycle Day: 21
    TTC Cycle: 4
Ovulation Date: 13 or 14 (not sure not charting or temping)
    POAS Date: 1/27
    Baby #:2

Favorite winter activity: living in SoCal the coldest winter weather we see here is high 50’s - 60’s so not much winter activity here

Had a mc in October (and another one back in July) cycle returned again in December. I’m not charting or temping or using opks so just kind of going off cm. I generally have long irregular cycles usually around 34 days long.

I’m so annoyed. I went to acupuncture today and I’ve been going for my wrist but mentioned trying to get pregnant and the guy today only put in the points for my wrist? I feel frustrated and like I don’t want to go back. If you’ve done acupuncture for fertility, how often did you go?

@Ms.Mermaid: I tried acupuncture for 1 full cycle. I stopped because I had the shortest LP ever, 7 days! I was so upset and that's when I made my first RE appointment. I went once a week but I'm kinda glad it didn't work out for me. It's expensive where I live and insurance doesn't cover it. Did you tell them specifically you wanted a treatment towards fertility or did he put the needles in your wrist for the fertility, and you wanted more? Sorry you are annoyed!

@Ms.Mermaid: I didn't go to acupuncture specifically for fertility, I went for stress and for a tense back. I mentioned infertility and he said that since my insurance doesn't cover fertility, he wouldn't be able to treat me for fertility. I still thought it was really beneficial and he put the needles all over my back. The month I started doing that was also the month I got my BFP, so I don't know.

Woke up early this morning and took another pregnancy test (12dpo) and it was

Still feeling a little shocked since I was so sure I was out a few days ago but excited and now anxious about how things progress from here.

@Ms.Mermaid: (Sorry, thread-stalking but haven't posted my POAS date here yet because I'm too terrified, ha) So I had acupuncture but it was *specifically* for fertility. She asked detailed questions about where I was in my cycle and my fertility treatments, and catered the session based on that. It's my understanding that you'd need to have a deeper conversation with the practitioner before being treated, and as someone else mentioned, bill it correctly to insurance.

Also, with acupuncture, I am told that it takes a few cycles for your body to respond, and the first cycle during it could be wacky. So, one session or one month wouldn't necessarily give you the results desired. Hope this helps.

So I got a very, very faint positive on a FRER (not showing up well in pictures, but the line definitely looks pink). Going to test again tomorrow morning and check back in!

This OPK is positive, right? Even without letting the pink settle?

Tested this morning, and the line is still very, very light (maybe even slightly lighter than yesterday’s). Hoping it’s just because I had a big cup of peppermint tea before bed, but it’s making me nervous. Feeling a little crampy this morning, too. I know that can be a normal sign of pregnancy, but period would normally be due tomorrow and I think I’m just freaking myself out. Going to retest once this afternoon, and then tomorrow morning. Hopefully by tomorrow HCG will have doubled and I will see a more solid line. If not, I guess we’ll be trying for next month.

@greencraftycello: Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

8dpo today, and my temp dropped a full 0.5 degrees this a.m. to right above my coverline, so I'm expecting that it'll drop below the coverline tomorrow and AF will be on its way a day or so early. I also have some mild cramping on my right side. Sigh.

@greencraftycello: would you like me to add you to the bfp list? Or wait until your next test? 😊

@afc061018: your temp can fluctuate a ton! I would try not to worry too much about temp drops. Ha I say this and do exactly the same every month!

    @Bluemasonjar: congratulations!!

My period was a day early but was normal, no crazy cramps or being sore for days so I'm excited! Hopefully things are back to normal and we'll get a bfp soon!

  31. afc061018

@MamaBear87: There is a tinytinytinytiny part of me that wonders if it'll go back up tomorrow. Since I've been charting, my luteal phase hasn't varied at all (10 days). And I don't have any of my normal pre-AF symptoms, which are like clockwork. But I've also been convinced of a BFP other months only to be burned by AF. So basically I don't trust my body for anything.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Blood work this AM, it's a negative. We are going to do another IUI, same protocol. Was told everything looked perfect and they wouldn't want anything to be different. I never in my life would of imagined TTC would be this hard. This sucks.

@MamaBear87: Thank you. I have PCOS and a LPD. My hormone levels are all normal except for high AMH/antral follicle count. I’m also hypothyroid. DH has B motility and low morph but count is normal.

@MamaBear87: Thanks! I'm hopeful, I responded really well to letrozole and DH samples were good. We have a few more months before jumping into IVF which terrifies me. See you in the February thread! Bringing for all of us!
