@aneliabedilia: You inspired me! When you said you're taking the NTNP approach and really gave it some thought and thought that I need to do this. Soo this month is to being healthy and not keeping track of anything! So thanks for inspiring me! and we are cycle twins!

@mrsmcd: Thank you! I know...it made me sad when hubby got sad. If you need a ttc-10lb weight loss buddy, I will be your buddy! I sure could use a buddy!

Thanks for everyone's support...love you ttc ladies!! Xoxo I can't wait to see some new bfp's this month!!!!

All these wondfos have me peeing on sticks like a madwoman. I can't decide if the disappointment of BFN (even at 8DPO) is good depressing or bad. On the one hand I feel like its worse to build up my hopes and then see negative or AF or worse anther short ass LP. But on the other I hate feeling out before I'm in. I guess deep down I think it's better to see my expectations managed a bit than be too hopeful. Now I just need stupid AF to wait till Saturday to show up. I mean it AF! You and your spotty little buddy better stay away!

@MrsMccarthy: Hugs! What can you do to distract yourself and be nice to yourself?

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@AmeliaBedilia: good question! I did just have an ice cream and I'm playing with my son right now. Perhaps I will plan by AF treats for myself. I may need to dip off of HB for a few days too. I'm not good at that though. Plus who knows if the will cure my POAS habit!!! It's taking every ounce of my strength not to waste my last FRER. We rented JaWs to watch tonight so that will be fun.

@MrsMccarthy: hoping for a good result for you soon! I think it is brave to start testing early. Last month I almost tested (at like 13 dpo) but decided to wait because it was nicer to hold onto the hope of being KU. Of course, my period came the next morning. Maybe part of me had a feeling it was not going to be my month. Save your FRER for when you need it! You can do it!

You know what I hate?...ttc and getting fitted for a bridesmaid dress for a wedding in October...and your sister telling the bridal attendant that I may be KU for the wedding...and the same thing happened for my sisters wedding this past April and getting fitted for hers in December and wasn't KU. Okay, my rant is done! Anyone else come across this stress?

    @nicolechris11212: I'm sorry sweet pea.

I am 9DPO and no spotting! It's possible I am only 8 DPO because my temps are being a bit funny but I am still happy not to be spotting. I hope to make it to saturday without AF! I tested with a wonfo again this morning and stark white BFN. Not feeling pregnant. Holding out for a long LP.

    @mrsmccarthy: thanks girl.

So, I finally decided to make an appt. with the RE. I go July 17…does anyone recommend DH coming along or is better to go solo? I don't know what to expect for the first appt. I'm sure they will send me for more blood work. In my mind I decided if I get AF then I'll make an appt…so today was the day that I made the phone call. And I'm glad my appt isn't like months away!

@nicolechris11212: OHMIGOSH! YAY! I love RE's because it's their JOB to Get you KU.I feel like they leave no stone unturned. I honestly wish I could go to one instead of my GYN but we will be completely OOP for that so it would be a last step and I would have to convince my husband. I have high hopes for you!

Sorry for being absent, still recovering from stupid bronchitis and sleeping a lot.

I am so confused, I never spot, and I've been spotting consistently starting at 10DPO. It's been mainly old blood, with a streak of pink spotting at 10DPO to start it off. I'm currently 13DPO, with AF expected tomorrow.

I've taken HPTs just in case, and all stark white BFNs.

    What's going on, body?!

@nicolechris11212: jumping in to say take your husband. The RE will want to know medical background for both of you. My husband couldn't go with me to the first appointment (I got a same day cancellation appointment) and it was a hindrance that he wasn't there. Good luck!

@Crystal: You could just be having an off cycle. It happens. Or you could have ovulated later than you think. I hope it ends soon either in a later BFP or AF soon enough so you can move forward. Sorry. Suckfest.

@nicolechris11212: I will absolutely be your lose-10-pounds buddy! I'll head over to your new thread soon. And I'm so sorry about your dress fitting. I know that feeling too.

@MrsMccarthy: 8dpo is way too early to test! You know that!

@AmeliaBedilia: @MrsMccarthy: thanks for letting me vent. It's just so frustrating! Stupid body

@AmeliaBedilia: how are you feeling today?

@MrsMccarthy: I hope you get some answers about your crazy cycle too.

@nicolechris11212: That's awesome you got a quick appointment with your RE!

@Crystal: Sorry about the weird spotting. I don't have any advice. But I hope something good happens soon for you.

  20. AmeliaBedilia

    nectarine / 2192 posts

@Crystal: Feeling very blah and just a little off. I skipped working out today, and haven't gotten much done around the house. DH and I haven't connected very well since our fight, but he said we will spend all day Friday together and that should work. He works all day and then we have a party tonight. Are you finally feeling better?

  21. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@AmeliaBedilia: getting there. I pushed myself too hard last weekend, so I'm still relying heavily on my inhaler and cough syrup.

I'm glad you and DH have some good quality time planned.

@MrsMcD: thanks! I hate in the in between- I just want answers.

So, I just found out that only my regular dr can refer me to an RE, not my OBGYN. While I'm not quite ready to start treatments yet, I guess I'll have to make some appts over the summer so I can get a referral. I don't understand why he has to vs an OBGYN?

  22. nicole112

    apricot / 278 posts

    Thank you @mrsmccarthy!!

@crystal: I hope your bronchitis goes away soon!!y FX for you!!!'*praying* it's implantation bleeding and a little bean is sprouting!! And TY!!

@swedishfish: Thanks so much!! I'll be taking DH with me!!

@mrsmcd: Sweet! It def helps to have a buddy!! And thanks...I also hate when bridal attendant "suggest" bridesmaids not try to get pregnant if they commit to a bridal party. Like really! I'm sure it took them first try to ttc when they were younger and who the hell are you to tell someone that not knowing what people have been through'! It's a sensitive topic!!

  23. deactivated_account

    GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts

@Crystal: If you have an HMO, then it is your primary care physicians who makes referrals. Sucks. But at least it seems your insurance is covering the RE! Lucky you. Who cares how you get there if its paid for once you do get there.

@nicolechris11212: Did the bride really ask you not to get pregnant? That's crazy.

  24. nicole112

    apricot / 278 posts

@mrsmcd: No thank God! Well, last summer when DH and I started our ttc journey my sister (aka BFF) didn't really "want" me to be but if I was she'd obv get over it in a second. But that was in the very beginning not knowing what our journey would be like. And my cousin getting married in October would love a KU bridesmaid. But the ladies at the bridal dress store said "bridesmaids should really not plan to get pregnant if they choose to be in a wedding..." Bite me lady!

  25. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@nicolechris11212: I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high that it's IB.

@MrsMcD: they do cover the visits, but limited treatments. Oh well, something is better than nothing!

  26. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@nicolechris11212: wow, how rude! I guess your life is supposed to be on hold for a year? Maybe longer so you don't steal the newlywed thunder. So silly.

  27. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@Crystal: the local fertility clinic here charges 300 for your first visit and then 900 for an HSG alone. You can't get treatments without the visits and they are through the roof. I wish it was ALL covered but it definitely helps to have even partial coverage. Before I had my son my old insurance covered ALL diagnostic fertility testing and it was so awesome! I had bloodwork, an HSG and ultrasound! This time around I had to be sneaky with my ultrasound. I would love to see if I can get an HSG coded as surgery and therefore covered like @MrsMcD: did! If i am not pregnant by September But I'm bracing myself for that to be OOP too. And as I said its 900 bucks! That said of course I just hope you get KU again and won't need an RE. Bit if you do it could be something so small and fixable that it would be worth it. It may take time as well to get in there so making an appointment in the future even if you cancelled because you are pregnant might not be a bad idea. I hope you are feeling better soon and the antibiotics could also clear up an unknown infection and help you get KU this cycle. I've read that many REs start with a round of antibiotics for both the man and the woman. Good luck!

@crystal: Right!! I think they were more concerned about getting the right size and putting me in like 3-4 sizes bigger than what I am now. Making me feel more like a beast, hah.

  29. AmeliaBedilia

    nectarine / 2192 posts

@nicolechris11212: Ugh, I hate bridal shops! I generally hate being a bridesmaid because:
    1. I don't like being the center of attention
    2. can't relax and enjoy the day
    3. time and money
    4. bridezillas

I really wouldn't want to if I were pregnant. I am hoping that if my brother gets engaged, I won't be asked to be a bridesmaid. I don't think anyone else is likely to ask anytime soon. I sound horrible, but I would much rather help in a behind the scenes way.

I just had more pre-period like spotting, so I think I am out.

As much as I tell myself not to, I can't help but get my hopes up. Oh well.

I intend to eat some ice cream tonight and cuddle with DH.

    Another month, here we come.

I tried to take it easy this month and not temp or get too crazy about it, but that didn't work either. I'm at a loss. Nothing is working. /pity party

Do you think we are BDing too much?

3 of the last 4 months, we hit every day O-3 though O+1 (except for this last month when we had a failure to launch on O, but we were successful all the other days.) When we got our BFP in November, we hit O-4 through O+1, and I'm just trying to recreate that success...

@ameliabedilia: Ugh I know right… I don't mind so much being in the bridal parties…I just wish I was a KU bridesmaid! I don't care…it'd be worth it! Haha… but it's still frustrating and stressful; more so when you're not KU. When I was getting fitted for my sisters wedding back in around December I was still a naive ttc'er and totally assumed I'd be KU by April and was OK with telling the bridal attendant. But for this one, it's definitely been a while and it was harder because I may or may NOT be KU by October. It just makes it harder but whatev's! Hanging in there…if I am I am if I'm not I'm not. I'll just have to get my dress taken in!…or not!

@crystal: Noooo! I'm sorry lady Enjoy that ice-cream and DH cuddle time!! Hang in there...
