I sometimes wonder what its like to be giant 'celebrity' and also pregnant. Can you imagine sharing so many intimate details about your pregnancy? *Shudder* I suppose she's used to that though!

That's so weird, I think we're due almost at the same time (I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow), and my baby was breech, but is now transverse. Unless she flips really soon I'm looking at a c-section (we have 2-3 OBs at my practice that will attempt a breech delivery if I wanted, but none of them will attempt to deliver a transverse baby....I wouldn't want to try, though).
I don't mind talking about my pregnancy if people ask, but I would not want to have people salivating over/publishing every little detail!

Even worse than all the details being discussed (which would suck) is the constant commentary on how you look, how much weight you've gained... My own DH has commented a number of times on how huge she is, and he means to compliment me (since we are due around the same time) but I just tell him to shove it because being pregnant is hard enough and as much as I can't stand anything kardashian, just leave her alone.
@lovehoneybee: at least transverse she isn't tucked in and stuck- there is a better chance of her turning head down this way, from what I read. But I also saw they don't really want to do any interventions to get a transverse baby to turn. Fingers crossed n

@Foodnerd81: Yeah, and I have an anterior placenta on top of it...I couldn't find any backup, but spinning babies had a blurb about how trying to do the manual version with an anterior placenta isn't a great idea (especially with my existing placental issues...I don't want to accidentally force it to separate!) I have an ultrasound tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to have a better idea of exactly how she's positioned.

Loss of privacy is the one thing that I would not like about being famous. Although some celebrities choose a life in the spotlight more so than others.
When it comes to relationships, pregnancies, and children, illnesses I feel really bad that celebs are hounded for the scoop or feel the need to go public for the sale of helping others. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman- Schultz battled cancer privately before letting the public know because she was scared for her kids. Just think of all the times we are actively involved in a celebs or famous person's current situation and they are uncertain of the outcomes themselves.

Seems pretty unpleasant to me, though at the same time, they totally take advantage of her pregnancy to dramatize their show. Like just now I saw a scene in an ad that basically went:
Kim: I got tested for [gestational] diabetes.
Kris: YOUR LIFE IS AT STAKE!!!!
I mean, really? Definitely not saying that GD isn't something to take very seriously, but that's just a little much...so while I would find it awful, seems like they welcome that kind of attention.

My first response to this thread: "She's pregnant again? " I do not keep up with pop culture!

@lovehoneybee: My second dude was breech, then transverse near the end of my pregnancy. The side kicks were so weird. He flipped perfectly ahead of delivery.
When I heard about her "high risk" pregnancy, I wondered what it was. Then I saw that the baby is breech and shrugged. It's pretty common. Not the over hyped drama they were going for.
