Oh, you guy, I really love kitties more than anything else. I grew up with them and always had them. I am that person that when I go to a party, I leave all the people to go to the back room and hold the host's cat all night.
My sweet DH is unfortunately extremely allergic so we don't have one and it is literally killing me

I know how much it hurts when you love animals and can't have them. I am very allergic to cats and dogs and got weekly allergy shots for almost three years before I was able to finally get a kitty; I still get them regularly. My allergies still bother me around him sometimes but they're manageable. They say allergy shots help 80% of people so maybe it is worth a shot for your DH.@yoursilverlining: my kitty goes on a leash sometimes, too!

@yoursilverlining: @.twist.: cats on leashes are the best. Do yours actually walk around on the leash? I mostly use our leash so that I can take our cat outside without risk of him running off. He walks around very apprehensively on it and does a lot of flopping, lol.

I'm so happy to see other cats on leashes, I always feel like "that" pet owner when my cat is chilling outside on a leash!My cat sort of walks on the leash; she will walk all around the yard and we can follow her lead, but she's also a humongous scary-cat so she won't really allow herself to be led anywhere. Mostly, she likes to walk out into the greens and forresty part of the yard and hide among the plants. And eats lots of grass to puke up later. LO likes to "walk" her though; she'll say "come on kitty, go outside. You need leash"

@loveisstrange: They do look alike! I have no idea, but it would be cool if he was an angora. All of my kitties were rescue cats so I'm not really sure what they are. I just always gravitate towards the fluffy ones.

@mrs. bird: thank you! Umm...my oldest cat doesn't like when the kitty wants to jump around and play, but I do find them napping awfully close to each other most days -
@catlady: We rescued ours also, from an unexpected litter that was going to get taken to the kill shelter, but the lady who had the mama cat said that 'ah, she's some turkish breed, I don't know". Lol. So he's at least half angora.
