As your LO got older did they start going down for naps later in the day? My youngest usually goes down around 12:45 and has been fighting it lately. I put her down at 1:30 today and she didn't put up a fight. I'm curious if she just needs a later nap time?

Mine have always gone "down" for a nap somewhere 1-130ish, but as DD1 got older (3+), she would play quietly in her room for longer and longer before falling asleep. Eventually we just had her drop the nap because she wouldn't fall asleep until 330 or later!

Yep when we switched to one nap it was 12. Lunch had to be at 11 to fit it in. Then it slowly pushed back to 12:30 and stayed there for a while. Now it's 1 and I can wait even longer if I have to. But I don't like letting him sleep past 3:30 so I try to get him down by 1.

Yup. As she got older her nap moved later until it got to a point where she never fell asleep and we just moved up bedtime. I didn't want naps going past 3:30 bc then she wouldn't be tired for bedtime. I think the latest nap time we did was 1:30/2:00 and I'd wake her up by 3:00/3:30. Later we'd just do quiet/rest time from 2:30-3:30

DD is 2.5 and she likes to nap at 3ish for about 1.5-2 hours. I definitely miss those super long naps right after lunch!!!

Yes, they have definitely gotten later. Used to be 11:30 at the latest, now it is around 1 or later.
He is 3.5.

LO2 is 2.5 years old and has always been pretty flexible with nap time. He can go down as early as 11:30, but I try to aim for after lunch, around 1:00.
