I'd like to start using my slow cooker (crock pot) at least once a week, ideally two or tree times to save on time in the kitchen after work, and to reduce the frozen prepared food we whip up on weekdays.

So, how about we share below are favourite tried and true recipes for our best kitchen friend?

Applesauce Porkchops

Spread a thin layer of applesauce across bottom on pot, layer porkchops on top. Sprinkle with garlic salt. Cover with more apple sauce. Leave on low 6-8 hours.

Easy Roast Chicken.

Peel carrots but do not cut. Layer across bottom of crock pot to allow air to circulate around chicken. Rinse whole chicken and place on top of carrots. Spread cubed potatoes around roast. Pour a little oil on top of chicken and sprinkle with favourite spices. Cook on Low 8ish hours (check and pierce at this point)
