How long was it until you resumed your normal physical activities? Laundry, vacuuming, household chores?
More importantly, how long did you wait before lifting your baby in their car seat? I was told I could lift my baby and could lift the empty car seat, but not both together. They didn't tell me when I could though... It's made going anywhere independently impossible and I think I probably will do so soon because I am feeling a lot better now.

In general, I stick to the two week rule. But when I over did it I could tell very quickly.

I would say two weeks. At day 11, things started to get better quickly but before that was pretty awful this time. I had a very big baby and was fine lifting him from the start but didn't take any risks with overdoing it that early. I started to lift my toddler occasionally at about the two week mark though, but could always feel it when I did.

I would follow your body's lead. With my 1st c section, it was probably 2-3 weeks. With my 2nd, it was closer to 4 weeks.

I was told no lifting anything over 10 lbs for the first 6 weeks, so I've been doing the car seat/baby separately.
Housework...I'm on week 4 and still not 100%. Depends what it is.

Depends on your recovery. At week 3, I was fine with lifting and housework. My friend who had a csec before me recommended that from beginning while still in hospital to slowly walk and move about which I did. I think that helped the recovery along.
With that being said, I have a friend who did too much and at week 2, her scar ruptured and it was kinda crazy

About 2-3 weeks for me. I could do most house work by then too. I felt totally back to normal and ready for exercise etc almost right on 6 weeks.

I was told not to lift anything heavier than LO for the first six weeks but I did the car seat some starting at 4ish weeks. Not when my mom was around 
I would say by 4 weeks I felt like I could do anything a normal person could but I tried to take it easy until after my 6 week appointment. Thankfully I had a lot of help.

I was pretty much back to normal at 2-3 weeks.

5 days. My OB said to do whatever my body felt comfortable doing. I really didn't feel the need to restrict much. I was back to playing tennis matches at 4 weeks PP.
