Has anyone heard of the little free library before? We just got one here at our local park, you can take a book or leave a book or both. Ours has books for kids up to YA I believe. It's a really cool concept, we will likely try it out someday but haven't just yet.

There are a few in my city and one located a few houses down the street from me. They mostly have books for adults but occasionally we see books for kids. I think it's pretty neat.

There is one a few blocks from us but it has a very small selection. When I think of it, I try to leave a few of LO'S books.

There's one a few houses down. It's jam packed with adult books. My mom found a Tangled book for LO but there's no room to leave anything else. Lots of kids in the neighborhood so I hope some space frees up for kids books.

We have one a couple doors down from our house. I looked in it the other day and happened to see the book I'd just ordered from Amazon inside!

There is a huge overload of these in my area. Most I have checked out are very sparse or filled with religious propaganda. I think they are a fabulous idea in theory, but I think their success really depends on the exact location.

We have something like that at a local park but all the books have been taken so it is always empty.

Portland has these all over. It's mostly just people who build little book boxes, and fill them with books, and a note to share. It's really great!

The local charter high school started this and I saw several of them around our town! It's a cute idea. They're little mailboxes filled with 10-20 books each. We haven't really utilized it yet but I should, there is one at the park behind our house and I have several books we could exchange too.

We have one and it is really cute! It is actually in front of someone's house and they get lots of donations and restock very often.
They are awesome.
