What tops do you wear with leggings that cover your butt?

@Mamaof2: so this doesn't directly answer your question but I like to buy jeggings that look like jeans but are leggings some even have pockets so then I don't need to have a long top

Not a top exactly but my winter uniform (in tx where it’s not that cold) is leggings, any top and this long cardigan. I have it in dark grey and navy and can pretty much match any top I have with those. It’s not too heavy so good for layering, and very soft.

I live in leggings (gym and home)! I'm not certain of your build and height but a bunch of these tops (which look amazing over all leggings and jeggins) can be found on Amazon, H&M, Gap, Express, Venus (online), and Lulus (online).

Amazon has a sweatshirt dress that I plan to buy to wear with leggings. I tend to look for dresses, rather than shirts, and then design around that.
I also will sometimes wear a longer tunic underneath a shorter cardigan, I feel that is less droopy looking on my frame.

I'm over 6', and I can hardly ever find long enough tops. This summer I found a tank/shell for work at an Eddie Bauer outlet that is definitely long enough for leggings. It is so perfect I went back for two additional colors. It's not on their website, but they have a few similar tunic tanks and I'd imagine they're all cut similarly.
