I switched to Luvs from Swaddlers with DD around 6 months old, and loved them had no issues what so ever. I'm wondering if anyone has used them for their newborn, say size 1? They are so much cheaper than Swaddlers and that is a huge plus for me!

We used them in size 1, until we switched to cloth and only bought diapers in smaller quantities...then we switched to Target brand. I really liked them
Except for the crazy looking purple monkey. I hated that monkey...I think that may have been my main motivation for switching to Target (they are about the same price). Ridiculous, I know

We have been using them for my 2 year old for awhile. They are SO much cheaper than Pampers. We have had no problems!

@Mrs. Lion: HAHA I don't' mind the purple monkey, Target diapers made DD1 breakout, so I have a hard time trying them again for DD2. I totally feel like the mom in the commercials that the second child gets the cheap stuff though

We use cloth except for vacations and any trips more than one night. My toddler is obsessed with her luvs and calls them "monkey diapers" because of the crazy monkey
she gets so excited when its time to wear one! Lol. We recently bought a small pack of 1's for DD2 for camping and had no issues!

They're alright, I just CANNOT stand the heavy powder fragrance. It gives me a headache.

We tried some when T was a newborn but he leaked out of them every time!! My sister always used them for her daughter. She swears they work better for girls instead of boys. Idk if that's true for everyone but it was for us!

@beachbee: I like to hear this, I was so nervous switching with DD1 because she was so petite and Swaddlers fit her, but in all honestly I'm sure Luvs would have worked just the same.
@loveisstrange: People always say this, but I must have a very low sense of smell because i've never noticed! ha
