I know a couple people mentioned trying to keep track of appointments... so I thought another thread might be helpful!
When is your next appointment? Monday August 12th!
How for along will you be? 8 weeks 5 or 6 days! lol
ETA: it's my first appointment with the MW! I also have one scheduled with my regular doctor two days later, but if I like the MW and we end up going that route, I'll cancel the one with my doctor.

My next MW appt is 9/3 & I'll be 13 weeks 7 days, but she'll be coming by the 19th or 20th to check for the hb again!
I also have an appt with an endocrinologist on 8/22 to go ahead & check/monitor my thyroid levels!

My first appointment is 8/15. I will be 8.5 or 9.5 weeks, I will get a dating U/S, yay!

When is your next appointment? Tues, Sept 3rd for OB and Sept 9th for NT ultrasound.
How for along will you be? 11 wks 5 days for OB.

Second appointment w/ NT Scan: August 27th

I will be between 11 and 12 weeks. It depends on how baby is measuring that week!

My next appt is Friday, 8/16. I'll be 8 weeks. This will be my second appt. We got to see the heartbeat last week.

I've got my first MW appointment today at 1:20pm! I'm excited.. and nervous. Hopefully all goes well. DH can't come because of work presentations unfortunately

My appointment is Thursday, finally! The weeks have been dragging on but this week is finally here! DH took the day off to go with but this will be the only appointment except the 20 week one that he can attend.

@Bao: yeah she said something about it being a concern if we didn't hear it then. I assume I'd be sent for an U/S but I'm sure it'll pop up all loud and strong - I'm trying not to think about the negative too much.
My DH only came to 3 appointments last time. He was at the first HB at 10 weeks, the 20 u/s, and then a random appt near the end when he was on holidays. He won't be at this one but I think I'll video tape the Doppler part with my phone for him.

Appointment went well and I really like the midwife! I am 8 weeks 6 days, so she said there isn't any way to hear the heart beat. She said she usually can't even get it at 10 weeks
Then when she was feeling around my stomache, she said "hmmm maybe I can try" so she did and didn't hear it! She said "Trust me, do NOT be worried" but of course I just realllllllly wanted to hear it!
Also.. if I'm 8 weeks 6 days, does that mean tomorrow I'm 9 weeks 0 days or 8 weeks 7 days? lol

@Bao: ok good! i wish there was US machines in offices they could just whip out!! But she said that she's sure everything is fine! And DH did manage to make it to most of the appointment as well, so that was good!

@Mrs. Champagne: Did you like the MW? My friend in your area is considering a MW for her next but is super nervous because she had an emergency c-section for her first. She was super unhappy with the OB care for her first but is really nervous about trying for a VBAC

@prettylizy: I really, really liked her! And DH did too! He said "she seemed really smart" which is good that he thought that because he was kind of skeptical!

@Mrs. Champagne: With C, even at 10 weeks they couldn't find a heartbeat via doppler, and I'd had an ultrasound 30 minutes before, and we saw it then. I don't think they actually found it using the doppler until 14 weeks.

@lemondrop: ah thank you so much for telling me that! i actually was just looking through past HB threads and saw that most people don't hear it until later!
Only a couple weeks till my US, and then about 2 weeks after that I will see the MW again and she said for sure she could hear it then!
@Mrsjets: yeah i'm so happy! she was nice and young! How it works is there is two teams of 4. I have a primary and a secondary on that team that will do most of my appointments and make sure I'm getting everything I need. When I go into labour though, I will get whoever on the team is on call. I hope it's this lady because I really liked her!

So I had my first appointment and it went great. Had an ultrasound and got to see the baby and its little heartbeat, and got to hear the heartbeat, which I guess I wan't expecting!!! So that was so so wonderful. HR was 151, which I was told was average, and I'm measuring at 7 weeks, so have a due date of 3/31, so I'm straddling the March and April mamas. I also gave blood (again) and was a very big girl about it and did well with that too, haha, so we are very happy She said if all is well after the next u/s in September, we can have the go ahead to tell people... but ugh, another month!!

My next ultra sound is Sept 9th! It will be the NT scan. Can't get here soon enough!!! And we will find out if it's a boy or girl on Oct 24th!
