Nursery planning is in full swing for me. I want to have almost everything done by my shower January 10th, it is being hosted by friends but I wanted it here. So 5 1/2 weeks to go.
I wanted to check in and see what y'all are up to.

Will they be sharing a room with a sibling? Not for the foreseeable future
What's inspiring you? The room was already very neutral so I am just trying to decorate in a bright and cheerful way.
When would you like to be done by? Soon! I'm getting the last piece of furniture this week, and then it is just a matter of getting the decorations in place. I need some more frames, and to hang some of those picture ledges to display books.
Where are you shopping? Furniture is second hand except a little castle glider that I love. My prints are from ikea and etsy. I will post pictures to our fb group

All that we have is a two bedroom so we won't have a new room for baby #2 but in hoping to add a few things for her. A few touches

I'm doing a loose Pendelton theme.
No sibling to share a room with but I may do it next time.
I'm inspired by bright colors! I'm using the striped blanked that I had made into cushions pictured below as the main focal point.
I want to be mostly done 1/10.
I'm shopping at the Pendelton Store, getting a few things from IKEA and Nordstrom. Lots of items I'm pulling from around the house.

We have a spare room that will be the nursery. We are moving next August though, so it feels sort if temporary. Unfortunately it's also our guest room and I'm still not quite sure what to do about that because my mom wants to stay with us for a few days after LO arrives (which I appreciate) but I also really want to have the nursery all out together...
We're doing navy and pink with a nautical theme. We have a crib, dresser, bassinet, and recently ordered a glider. My shower will be at the end if January, so I suspect we won't really have everything until February.

@sapphire: I'm keeping the guest bed set up in the baby's room for now for that reason. I'm planning to have the baby in my room with me at first so I'll switch out the bed for the crib at a later point.

Will they be sharing a room with a sibling? No, we're moving the spare bed to the office and that bedroom will be his
What's inspiring you? I've just been browsing baby boy nursery images. I love the hemnes dresser, so that's a key piece. I want to get a rug and some cute etsy prints for the wall. The room is pretty small so not too much will fit in there.
When would you like to be done by? March 30th! Lol that's my due date. I'm working on dd's room too, so hoping they will both be complete by then.
Where are you shopping? Ikea, bought a crib online from wayfair and etsy!

Do you have a theme? Superheros
Will they be sharing a room with a sibling? Nope they will each have their own but that means we are full! No extra space at all, the dining room will now be computer/ play room.
What's inspiring you? Nothing really. DH has always wanted to do Superheros for a boy. The room will be gray with a dark crib.
When would you like to be done by? Last month lol. I told DH that's all I want for Christmas is for the nursery to be done. We will see.
Where are you shopping? Target, hobby lobby ( got some great wall art) and the crib I want is from Wayfair.

@anya that's a great idea. We are getting rid of our guest room bed. We have an Aerobed when needed that can be set up in the office. If you don't want a big bed taking up space I highly reccomend one. We have had it for years and it is so comfortable. (We did not have a dedicated guest room at our last house) it was about $150 at Costco.

Nursery is painted! It was the dark brown when we moved in. The previous owners had a sock puppet themed nursery. We've done a dark grey and I'm collecting decor items now. Thinking a black and white rug and getting the blue ikea hemnes dresser.

Baby boys nursery is coming together! It's obviously still cluttered. We finally bought the dresser at ikea last weekend but we still have to put it together. Working on his polka dot wall and still waiting for a few more prints for the little gallery wall that will go above his dresser.

Finally got the nursery mostly done. Just need to hang a couple shelves by the glider.
