@MrsCastro: I skipped the shower last weekend because I wasnt ready. It was my birthday, the day I was suppose to be pregnant by and was until our MC. Send a nice gift.

Can I join in? This is my first time posting in a TTC forum, and our first month trying. I'm falling quickly into googling everything I can think of to learn about pre-pregnancy symptoms, even though I have no idea if/when I ovulated this month. I'm currently sitting at CD23, and expect AF on March 2nd, so I'm going to try to hold out to test until then. I really have no idea what to expect, but would love to have somewhere to talk about it

I think I'm going to join in this month too... I need to get back to being excited and hopeful about TTC! Today is/was O day, so I'm going to say I'll POAS around 3/4. I'll be testing early this month, since I have to be on progesterone as soon as I get a BFP.

@Beetones: Thanks! This is month 12... Month 9 was a m/c, and we had to take 11 off because I learned I have MTHFR and I was "detoxing".

@MrsCastro: this month is going to be a good month. And don't feel bad I'm skipping a shower for a family member on Sunday. You have to do what is best for you.

I'm likely in for march - my temps are below coverline and I'm waiting for Af. I'd poas on the 19th.

I'm still pretty skeptical that I'll be able to join in for March, but I'm super excited to follow all of your journeys!

@Beetones: MTHFR is a gene mutation that prevents the absorption of folic acid. Mrs. Hide and Seek wrote a blog post about having it. A large percentage of the population has one mutation on the gene, and some people have two (like me). Its likely responsible for my m/c, and if I hadn't found out about it there is a good chance I would've had more. I think its also the reason that I didn't get a BFP until I started going to acupuncture. Wikipedia has some good info about it too.

@Mrs.Someone: Just wanted to say that when I glanced at it quickly, when I read it in my head, it came out as "mther effer," which, after reading your explanation, doesn't seem too far off! Hopin' this month brings good news!!

Hello ladies! I'm excited to join! I am trying for #2 and hope to POAS March 9, if I can wait that long. We got our BFP the last time after 17 cycles of trying (temping, BD on the right days, everything always looked great). RE didn't find anything wrong and we were starting to look into adoption. I have heard it is faster for the second, so I'm optimistic! This is our first month TTC. Baby dust to all!

@mrs. bird: I take a supplement called 5-MTHF which is an "active" folic acid.

@Beetones: i just have to say I love your list-making skills. i bet you are a super organized person in real life...your list is so neat and readable, haha.

@shellio: exciting! i hope it is way shorter for you this time around! how old is LO?

@esqbee: We are super excited! LO is 14 mos. We wanted to start trying sooner, but I have a work commitment which would make it difficult to be due before November.

@Weagle: I had AF back around 9 mos, and in chatting with friends, 8-9 mos seems to be a common time (when still BF) to get it back. You never know!

I just joined and should be Oing any day now (or already did lol...got my +opk yesterday evening). Can I join the March party?
I hope to hold out and test on March 9th.

6 more days!! I will admit I have already poas knowing I would get a bfn. Lol Friday dh gets in the car and sees a bag from the dollar store. He rolls his eyes and says you stocking up again. at least I got them at the dollar store and not walgreens.

I'm going to change my POAS day to 3/12. I finally got a + opk tonight!! I'm so happy my body is doing something right and as expected timing wise!
