@avivoca: That would be hard if other people were allowed part time. And I think how it was handled is what is so upsetting. I hate that anyone has to go through this but it's nice to hear that I'm not alone!

Update! One of my college professors reached out to me a few weeks ago about an adjunct position back at my alma mata. I got the job and turned in my notice today! It will be the perfect part time work and I can not be more excited!
My boss did not handle my pregnancy or leave well and it was not worth taking away anymore precious time with my LO to be job that was not supportive of my family life.
