Anyone love their mei tai style carrier? I am thinking about getting a babyhawk.

I just bought an infantino and I'm on the fence so far. It's a little tough to get it right on a newborn. Right now I'm washing and drying it a bunch of times to break it in and soften it which I think will help a lot with getting it correctly adjusted. It arrived very stiff. LOTS of people on the babywearing groups love the mei tai though. I'm hopeful.

I love my Babyhawk! My son is two months old, but already 14 pounds, so the Boba wrap wasn't really supportive enough anymore - and even though I really like the Beco Gemini, it's really hot and not super comfortable to sit in. (I wear my son on public transportation a lot.) The Babyhawk is comfy and a lot cooler for both of us!

I bought a used Babyhawk for $15--love it! It's like a cross between an Ergo and a Moby. I love it!!

I love my mei tai. I started with one similar to the Babyhawk and then I got a wrap conversion one. It did take some practice, and I found I needed to cinch the bottom when DS was tiny.

I have a babyhawk that we still use on occasion for my 3 year old (who is and has always been a giant!). Definitely break it in with a lot of washing, though, if you end up with a stiff fabric; I failed to do that and it was almost impossible to wear him when he was an infant. I loved it much more once he got to be about a year old.

I love my babyhawk! I used it will dd1 all the time. It's a good middle ground between a wrap and a ssc (like an ergo or Tula)
