My husband's company just started offering discount car insurance through MetLife. We currently have USAA, which I like, but the MetLife is cheaper.
Anyone have MetLife? Are they good when you need them?

I have MetLife and have never had any problems with them, but I've always had them so have nothing to compare them with! I've gotten in a few accidents and they were easy to deal with I thought, and the rates could not be beat.

USAA is really good, but it's expensive

I haven't had any experience with MetLife, but I can say that I'd ditch USAA in a heartbeat. I might call MetLife tomorrow.

We have MetLife for home and car insurance. We (luckily) haven't had to use them for car incident, but their prices are really good. Even with my recent speeding ticket, I only pay about $600 (was paying $475 before) a year to cover my 2013 Altima. We did have to use them for the house portion part and they were amazing. They sent us a check (for a lot more than we thought) right away, and additional checks for replacement value difference after I bought new items with in a few days after I sent in receipts. (We're upset at how much they jacked the home owners premium by since we lost a no claim discount and had a surcharge for the claim, but I think that's standard for any company after a claim).
