We have been in our house over 3 years and have yet to really decorate. I'm really loving the modern farmhouse style, so I've been browsing Pinterest for ideas. Plus I love watching Fixer Upper. Does anyone else love this decor style/have it in their home? Looking for inspiration/ideas, so share yours!

@Bao: love Fixer Upper and that style too! Visiting a Basset showroom is like stepping into a Fixer Upper episode. I love when they work with homeowners that are really into color and pattern.

@NorthStar: I don't love the color we did either, but it's through the whole main floor...and it all kind of connects so I don't want to re-do it right now. It's currently a tan, but I want it gray.

@Bao: this is us too. We have an open floor plan, so kitchen, dining and living room are all one large room. I'll probably just go with what we have for now

I've had a lot of success at tiny shops, vintage markets and craft fairs
and then I've enlisted my husband to build me things like a mantle
