I am in the market for a new hand bag/purse. I want something that is big enough to carry my stuff, plus throw in a few toddler "accessories" as well. I want something that is good quality (not going to fall apart), last me awhile, a style that can go with anything, and comfortable to carry... I don't need designer or trendy bag. I am not a fan of prints... Not looking to break the bank either. Under $200 preferred... Any suggestions...

I'm on the hunt for a tan leather cross body for this purpose...not TOO big or too small...something I can carry my stuff in (wallet, phone, lip gloss and sunglasses) plus some stuff for the kids (snack bag or two, mini ipad, diaper or two and wipes).
I've seen some cute ones on Etsy. I also like this Marc Jacobs one at Rack, but I am looking for tan:

I just buy the fabric Longchamp bags. The ubiquitous ones. It fits a lot, including my work laptop. You can get multiple colors if you want. (I just use black. I don't want the complexity of rotating bags.). I used to use leather bags but they are heavier. My back prefers less weight.

@JLC53: @Ms. RV: I love my ju-ju-be hobobe! I've used it every single day for 4.5 years. With 3 kids I need to be hands free and don't know how I'd do it without the cross-body bag.
