@MrsRoo: Have you gotten referrals from neighbors or friends? That is how we ultimately found ours. Most services around here wanted between $120-$160 bi weekly. Some individuals were looking for between $100-150 bi weekly. Then a fellow mom an LOs daycare recommended her lady to us, she is drastically cheaper.
Not that services arent good, but remember they come with lots of overhead and taxes. Hence higher rates. We pay our lady cash, I am sure she doesnt report it as income...but I am also sure thats why she is cheaper

@Mrs D: we don’t know anyone in our area that has someone clean their homes (another reason my DH is hesitant). We’ve found a couple ladies from our neighborhood Facebook page and next door. So hopefully we will like/be able to afford someone!
