My EBF DD2 is suspected to have MSPI so I eliminated dairy and soy at about 3.5 months. I was told by my ped that we could try reintroducing it into my diet at about 6-7 months as a trial and to see how she did, but was given little information about what to expect if there was still an issue. She is generally a pretty fussy/gassy baby anyhow, so while she is definitely better with the elimination, I'm not sure how I will tell if she has outgrown the sensitivity or not. Do any MSPI moms have any advice? We only discovered the problem when there was blood in her diapers. I'd really hope to not get to that point again. TX!
