Since being diagnosed with GD I have realized just how many carbs are in EVERYTHING, how to read labels like a crazy person, and how to live by a freaking timer/alarm. Aside from my super strict meal plan my day looks like this, even on my weekends

5:30-wake up and spend 10 minutes hating being awake, check my blood sugar. Curse at the high results.

5:40-make breakfast and take my first pill.

6:00-take my second pill and eat breakfast.

8:00-test blood sugar.

9:00-snack

12:30-lunch

2:30-test blood sugar

3:30-snack

6:10-take two pills

6:30-dinner

8:30-test blood sugar

9:00-two pills and a snack, pass out from exhaustion.

3:00 am- check blood sugar (luckily this is only for a week when they change my RX... Again)

This doesn't include any work schedule or caring for a two year old... Can I have this baby yet?

I was also just informed that if my next week they don't see some improvement in my numbers, I get to add a 7th pill at a completely different time!

I just felt the need to rant/share. You're welcome.
