You know those names you love but can't use on your own children for whatever reason? Spouse vetoed, doesn't go with your last name, had an ex with that name, etc.. Drop them off here and maybe you'll be inspired by someone else's reject name

I love Jackson and Hudson for boys (DH thinks they sound like last names.)
I also love Annabelle and Isla but DH doesn't care for them.
DH actually picked out Madeleine and Camille which I both love.

I loved Titus for a boy but it had the potential for a bad nickname when paired with our last name. We also love Oliver but since then 3 of my cousins have named their dogs Oliver and now I don't feel like I could use it.

I LOVED the name Jian (like Jian Ghomeshi), but I am so thankful we didn't name our LO that. Especially after the sex scandal.
I also liked: Ira, Zia, Bingham (Bing for short), and August for boys. Isla, Lena, Lula, and Gray for girls.

Petra. Love it but it's a no-go for a couple of reasons.
I also have had Elsa on my names list since early 2012 (I even went back through my Google doc revisions history to prove this to DH, he wouldn't believe me I didn't add it after Frozen). That's obviously not a great choice anymore.

My husband vetoed Levi, Jackson and Cassandra. I vetoed Gabriel because I felt everyone would use "Gabe" instead.

@Sweet T: Laughlin will be our boy's name if LO2 is a boy! It's a tribute to my maiden name. We are debating at the moment whether to spell it Laughlin or Lachlan

I love Evelyn, but it horrible with our last name (ends in a -lyn sound).
Sarah, Margo, Caitlin, Alice, and Ryan are names we might have considered if we didn't have family members with those names.
