@Pancakes: you got my DD's probable name AND nickname in there! We want to get a good look at her when she's born first, but I'm pretty sure!

@jedeve: I like that you flipped the short and the long! I often think of using James as a girl middle name, but them some famous people went and used it as a first name.

  7. Mrs. Pen

    blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts

She did choose cute names! I never would have thought of Parker for a girl - but I like it. Though, there is Parker Posy.

Oi, this is tough. A lot of the girl names I love are different styles.

    1. Evangeline (Eva)
    2. Adelaide
    3. Brooke
    4. Coralee
    5. Quinn

I don't know if they all "go together" but I think they're beautiful names.

@Pancakes: Imogen was a top name for me - it's a family name and I love it's two nicknames Immy and Gennie. Pulled a big "no" from my husband, though.

The variant Beatrix is in our top 3 (after an old friend from Spain, Beatriz ("Bay-UH-treese"). A beautiful name, but not one we could pull off). My husband likes the nickname Trixie, and I like Bee. So, we might end up with a Trixie-Bee.

@gerijeni: I thought about Trixie, but I think it's because I've been watching too much call the midwife!

My girls would be so mad at me because I'd surely mix up their names all the time.

    Charlize
    Calista
    Celine
    Cicely
    Campbell

I don't know what the middle names would be.

    Holy
    Crap
    I'm
    Having

@mamimami: That totally made me laugh out loud. Poor little Crap, haha. ETA I read that to DH and his response was "at least she'd have her own emoji" LOL.

If I hadn't already used one of these on the dog and DH had no say:

    Anna
    Everly
    Gemma
    Madeleine
    Aurora

They probably don't really go together, but oh well!

I've always said I won't duplicate name ending sounds within our family, so that's really my only theme. And yes, I included my two DDs' names. Since we say we definitely want three kids, would consider having a fourth if there is a big space between 2 and 3 or 3 is a girl, then joke that if we go for four we will have twin girls, it could happen!! Gotta be prepared, right?

Eta: what did the family really name them?
