Hello all.

I am new to this site and on TTC cycle #3, this is my first cycle charting. I was wondering if anyone could help me out regarding the clearblue advanced ovulation test, the one that shows a flashing smiley for high fertility and a solid smiley for peak fertility.
So I have been testing with FMU since that is what was written in the instructions. But I have read that the LH surge is best detected with afternoon urine since the surge happens during the day.
I got my solid smiley this morning after several days of flashing smileys. Since I used FMU, I am wondering if perhaps my LH surge actually happened yesterday and the test is picking up the remainder of that surge. Or are clearblue advanced tests just more sensitive than other OPKs and can detect a rising LH before the actual surge happens later in the day. Maybe that is why they say to use FMU in the instructions instead of afternoon urine like the other OPKs...
I am just wondering if my LH surge will happen today or if it already happened yesterday. I hope this all makes sense.

Thanks in advance!
