@carrieknitscake: I am 6dpo too! And what I saw matched exactly, kinda bright pink with some cm. I don't feel soreness in the breasts, twinges now and then which I attribute to wishful thinking, but very crampy. Oh carrie, fingers crossed for you!

@MrsLilybugg: Thanks. This is our fourth cycle. I hate reading into stuff. I saw the bright pink/red spot in the bathroom and went WTF. Seriously, I was like "What the hell is this." It never ever happens in my cycles. My breasts have been really sore and painful since ovulation. I spent most of the weekend without a bra on because it felt better. Today, they're okay. I'm really, really trying not to read into it because I've been dismissing the breasts as "Whatever, I'm probably not pregnant sort of thing." I won't truly know until next Wednesday which is a million miles away. Must keep distracted especially since Internet postings are about 50/50 on the sudden spot of blood mid cycle (which again never happens for me ever!)

@carrieknitscake: yea, it's so frustrating how any symptom can really be either/or. agh! I tell myself I'll stop reading the baby sites to distract myself, cause then I start to obsess about it again, but of course I always come back to them. Ha! A good distraction for me right now is focusing on trying to lose 10 lbs.

@MrsLilybugg: Christmas knitting, cleaning, laundry, dinner (thinking bbq turkey meatloaf tonight), and gym are high on my list of distractions.

@AlyB25 - how long have you been off BC? Those symptoms sound just like me, too...no symptoms at all, except for VIVID dreams (and I've been really cranky the last few days.) Since I don't usually start getting PMS symptoms until 10DPO or so, I'm a little hopeful. But also a little jaded, seeing as this is cycle 10.

  7. AlyB25

@redsmarties: I have been off BC since June, and this is the first cycle where I do not have crampy feelings or back pain, so it is definitely unusual for me. I am 6 dpo now, zero symptoms except very strange and very vivid dreams too (but I'm trying not to read too much into this!). I swear, for the last 4 days my dreams have been insane lol. We are only on cycle 4, but the last 3 months I could have sworn I was KU with all of the symptoms I was having, and this month I have none, so I am also a *little* hopeful, but I also don't want to get my hopes up either like I do every month. How many DPO are you?

  8. Mrs. Oatmeal

    blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts

@AlyB25 - I'm 7 DPO today, and really not feeling much at all. Last month, because of stress, my cycle was 50 days long, and my LP was INSANE...I was so convinced that I was KU. But the day after I had my blood tested at the Dr, AF showed up in full force.
I think it took a good four months or so for my cycles to stop being so wonky after BC. They still aren't totally regular and its been almost a year off BC, but at least they aren't jumping between 27 and 48 days anymore. They're around 35, usually.
    Good luck this month!!

  9. AlyB25

    coffee bean / 40 posts

@redsmarties: That's good that your cycles are more regular now Mine have consistently been 25-26 days since getting off BC, I was lucky in that sense...good luck to you too!!

@carrieknitscake & MrsLilybugg: wow, both of your symptoms look really hopeful! And the spotting is right around when implantation would occur too. Especially if you never have spotting in between cycles, that is a *very* good sign,...Fingers crossed!!

I o'd yesterday. Last cycle was disappointing, and I was sure I was having an anovulatory cycle this month, but I didn't.

I have my fingers crossed for everyone!

I'm about 6dpo but my cycle is all weird. I got a temp spike but now it keeps dropping. FF thought ovulated on the 1st but then my temp dropped yesterday and it changed it to the 3rd. This morning temp dropped again and it switched ovulation back to the 1st. I'm still above my coverline but I've been feeling crampy, headache for two days, and just in general feel like I'm going to get my period. It's not due til next week so I hope it's not coming early but that would explain why I'm cranky and irritable!

  12. AlyB25

    coffee bean / 40 posts

hows everyone doing?? TGIF...9 dpo and absolutely nothing going on...definitely not feeling positive about this cycle BBT hasn't dropped, but it's not going up alot either, plus I have zero symptoms...sooo I'm guessing it will be on to month 5 for us...not giving up yet, but not feeling really hopeful. We had pretty much perfect timing, so I'm just a little confused and starting to worry a bit. How is everyone else doing? anything exciting going on?

  13. MrsLilybugg

    pear / 1650 posts

@AlyB25: My hope is also starting to dwindle away. Earlier this week I had symptoms (like the spotting, and dizziness, and sensitivity to smells), but other than the spotting I think it was in my head. I'm about 10 dpo and I took a Dollar Tree test last night and this morning, and they were both BFN's. My AF isn't due until the 15th (IF my cycles are back to normal after BC!!!) so I know it's too early to tell.

  14. hellobeeboston

i had a pinkish watery bit this morning that is leading me to believe this isn't our month

i got all screwed up this month with our vaca and the smiley's not working so I must have missed our LH surge - if this is in fact, AF, it would make sense because this window we missed bding for 4 days, and even though I had negative smileys, that must have been it.

i don't have my normal signs though - usually my bbs hurt so bad, and this month they are totally fine - and my back has been killing me.

    GRR. sad.

  15. AlyB25

    coffee bean / 40 posts

@MrsLilybugg: don't give up yet, 10 dpo is still very early..the spotting you had is such a good sign...i would wait a few more days and test again, maybe when you are 12dpo or just wait until AF is supposed to arrive. It's hard when you just get off BC because you don't know what is normal or not yet for your cycles, so I guess just wait and see...good luck!!

  16. AlyB25

    coffee bean / 40 posts

@hellobeeboston: could the pinkish watery stuff possibly be implantation spotting? how far into your cycle are you?

  17. hellobeeboston

    honeydew / 7235 posts

@AlyB25: hey - i suppose? i'm not sure when i ovulated this month so I'm not really sure. my cycles are usually between 30 and 35 days. Today is day 33. i guess we'll have to see how it goes throughout the day, it was such a bummer to see!

i also feel NO symptoms, light cramping for the past week - that's normal, it's very light. the no boob pain is weird!

i think i may start temping next month

  18. AlyB25

    coffee bean / 40 posts

@hellobeeboston: hmm, yea its hard when you aren't sure of the length of your cycle, so it really could be either.. fingers crossed for ya...I just started temping this month and it really helped me pinpoint when ovulation occurred.

  19. hellobeeboston

    honeydew / 7235 posts

    @AlyB25: i know! it's tough - i'll update end of day and we'll see!

the only thing i'm holding on to is i've never really had this "watery" situation, my P usually starts with brown clots... tmi, sorry!

I'm in. 6 DPO. My normal PMS symptoms but having backaches for the past 3 nights which have kept me up. Sinus drainage so have a sore throat. Sore and full breasts. AF isn't suppose to show until next Sat so I hope my symptoms continue:)

5dpo here...no real symptoms, except I"ve been super emotional today--almost burst into tears at work over some stupid comment I still have at least 5 days before I test.

  23. mole

I'm probably 4-5 DPO. I'm testing on the 20th, if I don't get my period before then. I want to hold off as long as possible so I don't test too many times. I am now just waiting. I've had lots of creamy CM this week, and my lower back hurts like a mother. I also am feeling really stuffy.

Of course, I have been hitting the gym a lot recently (to explain the back), and we did just take 2 cross-country flights (to explain the cold). We will see!

  24. tessabella76

6dpo and spotting with light cramps. AF not due for about 5 days. Hoping it's implantation bleeding but have a feeling it's not. Blah.

@mole: Still! That sounds promising! Fingers crossed for you, and good for you if you can hold out til the 20th.

All my symptoms stopped on Sat. Completely stopped. Usually Pms is raging and then disappear when AF appears. My body loves too keep a sister guessing. LOL

I'm 6dpo in Cycle 16 and am turning crazy!! This is my first Clomid IUI cycle, my temps are good so far, I have more hormonal type symptoms than normal which is prob from the Clomid and I JUST WANT TO KNOW ALREADY!!

I'm not planning to test until Thursday...

    pear / 1650 posts

@Mrs Green Grass: I am sooo happy and hopeful for you! I hope this cycle is it for you Thursday's a big day for us it seems. My AF is due on Thursday, and I wish this week would speed by so I'd just know already! I am feeling dizzy and nauseaus, buuuuut I'm also in finals week in a course so that may explain it. And we know stress pushes back a period, and that in itself is stressing me out, so I may be in for a longer than usual wait. sigh. Good luck!

i think im out this month my temp dropped this morning, so AF will probably show tomorrow which was expected...so bummed because we literally pulled out all the stops this month and i thought for sure it would all work.....onto month 5....good luck to the rest of you in your TWW!!!

i thought i was out last friday but have been having this very very light watery spotting since then, not enough for a pad - no symptoms, not even sore bbs... some very light cramping.... today is day 36 for me, my period is usually here by day 35 - although I missed my O this month (opks didn't work) so i'm waiting to see how today goes, i feel like AF is prob coming..... otherwise, I'll test in the morning!

    good luck all!

I'm out this month. It was a long shot but I'm still bummed.
Here's to next month. I'll be ovulating at my grandparent's house on Christmas - BDing there is going to be tricky!

@oliviaoblivia: Yeah for "secret sex" as my husband calls it. We BD'ed during Thanksgiving weekend at my parents' house. Thank goodness for two floors and a door that shuts well.

My parent's dog Lucy didn't visit during our fun times but has in the past. She gives my husband a disapproving look because she adores him. Yep, the dog is mad that he's with me. Right after we got engaged at my parents, we kissed on the couch, she was all up in our business. We kissed later in the bedroom, she came in, and gave the same "What the hell" look. I love her to bits for being a snarky little Old English Sheepdog.

I'm out. I didn't actively chart this month so I guess it was more NTNP than trying. It is still disappointing though. I'm bringing the thermometer back out tomorrow. Time for cycle 8!

I've officially missed my period today and the digital was clear as day. I made an appointment today for the first visit. I'm so nervous in general about everything so far.

One coworker heard me say something vague to another. She asked point blank and I denied, denied, denied. I corralled another trusting coworker who sits in her grouping to ease the story the other way until all is confirmed and well. Eek, got to keep my mouth shut!

@oliviaoblivia: Thanks! I'm still in disbelief with the whole thing. I didn't think that we would see two lines this cycle, but we did. Every time I saw one, I just didn't believe it. It's weird when they get darker and darker. Now I just have to keep my mouth shut and hope that we get through to February, then huge announcement time! I'm hoping and praying for a smooth couple of months to know that we're in the clear.

My current line with the coworkers is that it's my best friend I was talking about. I'm so glad that I have a coworker I trust who won't say anything and can lament about crappy cakes received at the office today.

@cascadecherub: OMG!! You have a BFP! Congrats!! I have a hard time shutting up about TTC so I know that I'd probably have a hard time keeping such great news a secret (til it's considered "safe" to announce".
