What newer kids movies have you watched lately, that you/your LO enjoyed? They can be in theaters, releasing soon, or recently released. We are watching Secret Life of Pets right now. I would like to see BFG. My youngest wants to see Moana.

We saw Finding Dory in theatres and my BIL bought it for DS for Christmas, so we've watched that a few times recently. We saw Moana in theaters and he talks about it every day (we also have the soundtrack and listen to it constantly). I think we might go see it again because we all loved it! He really wants to see Secret Life of Pets, but we've been watching Christmas movies recently so I haven't checked it out from the library yet.

My kids have been saying "oh my god , look at her butt" which is in allllll the previews for Sing.. since they saw the preview during Secret Life of Pets!! I just need them to see it and get it out of their systems! I want to see trolls and moana.

We almost took my 2yo to see Moana in theaters. He's pretty good watching movies at home but we chickened out. Not sure if he's ready for the theater experience!

We loved the new Peanuts movie - its' still new-ish.... it's on HBO On Demand right now and its so cute!
Secret Life of Pets was cute, but I liked it more than LO.

Has anyone seen Storks? For some reason, my 3.5 year old saw previews and keeps talking about the "bird and baby movie". Is it appropriate for her age? Are there any scary parts?

@Anagram: I took my 4 year old to see storks. I thought it was really good! There are a few scenes where they're being chased by wolves, but friendly-ish wolves. The end totally made me cry.

Moana was amazing, Trolls was cute, and we can't wait for Sing. Every time the preview comes on my daughters dance (and start saying Oh My gosh Becky Look at her Butt)
My mom is getting the girls Finding Dory and Secret Life of Pets for Christmas. We saw Storks in theater (not sure if it's out yet) and it was okay, not my favorite but still cute.

@Anagram: We went, not scary, it was okay..it didn't really hold her attention like other movies do. (we go to a lot of movies, so I'd say its a little boring.)
