@Silva: timing looks great!
@coopsmama: @marley: @Shizaz: good luck ladies! Sore bb's and smelling smoke all sound like great signs to me!

Adding another temp this morning changed my ovulation date to cd 16, which is what I thought it was. So, now I'm 3dpo. and have already read the symptom spotting thread twice. Thank goodness for the holiday/fun stuff planned this week! Hopefully I can get in control of the crazy.

Has anyone used the progesterone cream that you have to insert vaginally? It's truly awful.
Man, this babymaking stuff is super sexy (not.).

@mrsjd: no. Sounds annoying though. I'm actually surprised how anybody gets pregnant without help these days, lol.

@Silva: Sometimes I just let the crazy take over for an hour or so and google endlessly and read ridiculous posts about symptom spotting. There are worse things. Like prenatals. *shudder* I take them, but man, I have to make myself choke them down!
I am on track to O tomorrow/Wednesday . . . and we are trying again this cycle. I got two high readings on the CBEFM this time (and on the "right" days, CD 11 and 12), so maybe that's a sign that things are going more normally . . . ? (last time it jumped from low to peak, with no high days in between.) Only time will tell. I will be 14dpo on Dec. 8.

@coopsmama: I agree with @LCTBQE: that you are a saint! Yay for getting your house back!

@marley: Ooh the smelling symptom sounds promising! My nose turned into a bloodhound when I was pregnant. I could smell stuff a mile away haha!
@pwnstar: Good luck this cycle! Glad things are going normally with the cbefm.
@mrsjd: nope I haven't tried the cream either. Hah yep, who knew baby making wasn't just all fun and games.
@Silva: Fingers crossed for you and hope the TWW goes by fast!

@pwnstar: Good luck over the next few days
@marley: I'm also surprised whenever someone gets pregnant with no help. "what do you mean you don't chart and you got pregnant" haha.
@Silva: I thought it might change your O date. Don't you hate it when you 'lose' days. Oh well, sounds like you have a fun weekend to keep you busy!
clementine / 854 posts
@pwnstar: I do this too! I am not really a symptom spotter, the last few months I've had zero symptoms. But I will google post after post about the symptoms I should be feeling, or trying to find people saying they had no symptoms. This cycle has been different though. I was feeling nauseous before bed last night, and I still am today. I had a dream I got a BFP last night too. The waiting is just killing me. I might test tomorrow morning again but maybe I'll try to hold out until Wednesday. I am going to be so disappointed if it's negative.
@MrsB2012: I am surprised it's not as easy as it seems. I know many people who have had accidental pregnancies. It almost seems like it's more likely to happen as an accident than to plan it!
kiwi / 706 posts
@tiramisu: yeah this is a little different though. I'm smelling things that are not there, like cigarette smoke when I'm not around anyone smoking. It's scary! I read that it could be caused by brain tumors or seizures. But also it's a pregnancy symptom. We shall see!
apricot / 409 posts
@marley: Ohh I thought maybe you could just smell the smoke from faraway. Well, I definitely hope it's a pregnancy symptom and not anything scary!

Lots of excitement in this group!
I'm not feeling super optimistic. My temp went down and I gave in and POAS and it was neg. I guess I'll just wait and see if AF comes.
nectarine / 2461 posts
@Silva: if you ovulated on CD16 then your timing was *perfect*
@mrsjd: that stuff sounds medieval.
@pwnstar: which prenatals do you take? I recently switched and am gagging slightly less, but always curious about new (if gross) brands. yes to the crazy googling, I now have read every thread ever written on the internet about slow-rising betas and ectopics.
by the way, have you guys noticed that in most of the other forums, like babycenter, the entries are written so badly that they're hard to understand? I'm grateful HB exists.
@marley: I am having a psychic premonition that your brain is in perfect health
@wheres_c: hang in there, lady.

@Shizaz: @MrsB2012: lol, my face when people mention how easy it was for them to get pregnant. Wish it was that easy for all of us!

@marley: fingers crossed for you! Hoping for a pregnancy over a tumor
@LCTBQE: YES! I have such a hard time when I *ahem* symptom spot Google! Some of those forums are so difficult to read or understand what the posters are saying lol!
@wheres_c: We're only 7dpo, hang in there! Temp dip could be implantation too!
nectarine / 2461 posts
@wheres_c: wait, you're only 7dpo? totally agree with @mrschickpea: in that case
kiwi / 706 posts
@LCTBQE: @mrschickpea: thanks!!!
@wheres_c: definitely not an AF temp dip. You need to relax!! I know, easy to say, while I'm sitting here thinking I have a brain tumor...
pomelo / 5789 posts
@marley: haha you do not have a tumor.
Funny story. One time, I smelled fantom garlic. Anywhere I went, I smelled garlic. Hubs could never smell it. I googled and was convinced I had a tumor. Decided to wash my fleece jacket two weeks later - reminents of crushed garlic inside my sleeve - must have spilled it while cooking.

@LCTBQE: YES!!! I can't stand any of the other forums, in addition to the horrendous writing, the signatures at the bottom of each entry does my head in. Very distracting, so glad I'm not alone!
persimmon / 1045 posts
@wheres_c: that is hilarious. Not-so-phantom garlic after all!
@marley: hey girl, hope the smoke smell has stopped & you get some good news soon! I think brain tumour suspicions need to be put to rest!
@mrschickpea: I agree wholeheartedly with that picture. I envy people who get knocked up on their first try ever off BC etc, but part of me wonders if they are fibbing now, haha.
kiwi / 706 posts
@LCTBQE: @Nutella: I've noticed this too! Almost like different cultures? Like, I would never post on twoweekwait or something.

I definitely got "lucky" with #1. I think that's why i have so much anticipation as we are "trying" for 2.
I had been told I would need fertility help bc of severe PCOS and hadn't had a period in 2 years when I found out I was Preggo with my first. So while he was a surprise baby, we conceived after a year or so of NTNP.
Now my period is back and more regular, and I'm back on metformin for the PCOS.
I had hoped for two kids with a two year gap. LO1 is about to turn 3. Granted we waited awhile to start trying again, and then I was traveling for work at all the wrong times...

@wheres_c: Sorry. Hoping it's too early and you still get a .
@pwnstar: @LCTBQE: You ladies are so funny! It's too true - I was at my wit's end with them. It didn't help that were on a strict budget with the holidays and they ate up SO much food and didn't offer to reimburse us at all. Feeding 5 extra people is no joke. I feel like I've spent all of my day (I'm a sahm) trying to recover and get our house back in order. Thankful that ordeal is over.

I totally poas today even though I'm only like 5-6 dpo. I have issues. of course!!! (Of course the only reason is I have a TON of cheapies just burning a hole in my bathroom drawer. Had they been more expensive I never would have.)
pomelo / 5789 posts
@coopsmama: lol yeah the pack of wondfos that one of the other bees sent me is burning a hole in my cabinet.
nectarine / 2466 posts
@mrschickpea: that reminds me of this meme. ( completely off topic hshah)
nectarine / 2466 posts
@wheres_c: way too early! Lots of hope left!
@wheres_c: I was lucky with both my girls. I got pregnant on the second month of charting with both. With my first we were ntnp for over a year. Then I started charting and it totally changed things.
@coopsmama: haha I'm the same way. I start poas at 7dpo all the time. I can't help it!
persimmon / 1045 posts
@marley: Totally! I would never post but it doesn't stop me stalking their boards during tww!
clementine / 928 posts
@MrsB2012: OMG LOL! I'm totally creeped out by that hahahaha
@coopsmama: RUDE! That is a lot of people eatin on yo food! Glad they are gone lol! And not crazy about POAS so early, I've been eyeballing the ish out of my cheapies for at least 2 days and I'm only 7dpo lol.

It's been a few months since I posted. I finally got a BFP I had a negative on First Response on 10 or 11 DPO. I was expecting my period today, and it didn't come so I took another one and it was positive! I totally didn't expect it since I got a negative at 10-11 DPO.
I came off birth control in Feb. 2015 and my first cycle was 60 days XD Eventually they became shorter. This cycle (which ended in pregnancy) was going to be 35 days long. I had 2-3 anovulatory cycles due to stress (both job and physical health issues), pharmacy screwing up my thyroid, and my body adjusting after birth control. This last cycle was also the only one where we had sex more than once in the fertile period XD
I'm both nervous and excited. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which automatically makes me a high risk pregnancy. Assuming this will be a viable pregnancy, it will be the first child for my husband and me I don't think I'll get back on birth control until after I'm done having kids. It took my body a long time to regulate.
