@mrschickpea: I think I'm out. Last night AF gave a hint that she's on her way, so I expect her full force today. We had such good timing this month, better than any other month so far, so it's frustrating.

I probably won't join the POAS thread for December since it's going to be a crazy busy month and I don't think I'll have time to post as much. But I do wish everyone good luck next month!

@mrschickpea: That picture is perfect. Who would have known Kermit could articulate my *dafuq?* thought process into an expression!

@LCTBQE: I take the Rainbow Light Prenatal and DHA . . . but, even typing it out makes me gag a little. lol And HAVE MERCY some of the other forums are so bizarre and incomprehensible it's breathtaking. But at the same time I.just.can't.look.away!

Another high day today. I was expecting a peak reading, so I'll just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings. I also spotted yesterday which is really really odd for me . . . and it's hard to be positive/excited after the last cycle. At the very least, I will be preoccupied with baking and cooking (annnnnd drinking!) over the next couple of days, so there is that to look forward to.

Still no AF for me, I was due on Friday (CD 25). I had bad cramping that day, very similar to AF cramps so I thought it was so close. I still have on and off cramps, but not as badly.

I tested with cheapie Clinical Guards but BFNs. I want to wait til Friday to test with a more expensive test. I'm afraid of no period AND no BFP! I ovulated around 14-15 CD. But I never got a glaring positive OPK, just a few almost-postive color changes and then back to negatives (using Wondofo) after CD 15. It lasted maybe a day.

I feel fine, sometimes queasy after eating but I hate to symptom spot. I've been tired, but nothing new there!

Anyone familiar with Clinical Guard? I was so tempted to buy Wondofo tests, but didn't want to waste more $$ especially if indeed I wasn't pregnant.

@Bibliolove: I have Clinical Guard cheapies this time around and was curious to see if they would actually work, too. So far they've been accurate on the BFN front (I know from last cycle when I ovulated early on a month we weren't trying) but I've heard they aren't super sensitive (even though they are touted as such by the company) and take awhile to register BFPs.

AF is here for me so I'm officially out. Next month is busy, so I'm hoping the TWW will be quick and easy. This time, I'm not testing until AF is overdue for sure. It's just too disappointing otherwise.

    @thepaperbutterfly: congratulations!! Wishing you a H&H 9 months!

@mrschickpea: lol those memes are hilarious!! I'm trying super hard not to symptom spot and "pee on all the things" like I did last month.

@Shizaz: Bummer to hear that AF arrived. Good luck next month! Being busy definitely helps the TWW go by faster!

@LCTBQE: @Nutella: @marley: Glad to hear I'm not the only one who found the other forums odd. HB is the first one I've joined (although I admit to stalking others lol). And I agree, the signatures on some are so distracting!

Haha, I'm so glad I updated a few hours ago because THAT must have triggered AF's arrival! Heigh-ho, onto December we go.

I do feel like I'm learning more and more about my cycle with each month. I'm going to start temping to confirm ovulation.

@tiramisu: I'm going to call it the TWW syndrome - symptoms include insane "siggys" (lol) and spelling and grammatical errors.

@Bibliolove: bummer. Good luck next cycle!

@marley: Uhhhh . . . based on the forum posts I have read, there just might be a TWW Syndrome pandemic!

    @thepaperbutterfly: Congrats! That's wonderful!

@Bibliolove: ahh, I'm sorry! It sucks when AF is late! It's really interesting the things you learn about your body when you start charting. I think so at least haha.

@Shizaz: Hope next month is speedy for you,

Thanks ladies! I'm a neurotic obsessive type of person, which is why I had to leave this site for a while. My method of dealing with negative, depressing, and anxiety inducing things is to focus on something else. Different things work for different people, and that is what worked best for me. I think more than that it is the lack of control over the whole thing that can be upsetting. There aren't any fertility or PCOS issues in my family, but fertility issues are fairly common. I'm 31 too so I guess that makes it harder than it would be if I were in my 20s. Still feeling pretty excited

@Bibliolove: @Shizaz: Aww sorry ladies! You're right though, with all the busy-ness of December, it's guaranteed to go by quickly! I'll be watching out for good news from both of you!

@pwnstar: good luck! It's so great that you get to try again this month! Makes me curse my 35 day cycles

@mrschickpea: 8dpo, such an exciting time with all the anticipation. I'm sitting here at cd10 twiddling my thumbs. ( 33-35day cycles to boot!)

  22. mrschickpea

    clementine / 928 posts

@MrsB2012: haha, I feel ya! I have 33-36 day cycles too! While everyone quickly ovulated a week after AF, we gotta wait 2 and O around CD 22 or so lol! It's like a friggin century has passed.

  23. Umbreon

    clementine / 854 posts

@pwnstar:@mrschickpea: @tiramisu: Thank you! Good luck to you ladies!

Providing I O around the normal time, AF will be due around Dec. 24. That could work out nicely for the best gift ever for DH! Or it could be really crappy to get AF just in time for all the get-togethers.

  24. pwnstar

    pear / 1718 posts

Another high day today . . . not the peak day I was expecting. I have never had 4 high days in any one cycle. Maybe I'm not going to ovulate. Or maybe it will be hella late for me. Gah. I don't know what to expect this cycle. Good thing there's plenty of pie and wine!

  25. LCTBQE

    nectarine / 2461 posts

@Shizaz: I'm sorry your period came. Not to get pollyanna on you, but keep your chin up! Sounds like you're doing great with timing--it'll happen

@tiramisu: "odd", i.e. illiterate it's like everyone dropped out of the fifth grade and hasn't written anything but a text message from then on.

@wheres_c: hang on, lady! every person on earth was white as a sheet on a pee stick at one point. nice way of looking at humanity, yes?

@pwnstar: ugh, sorry it's not so clear for you right now. @marley: didn't this happen to you last month with your cbefm?

  26. LCTBQE

    nectarine / 2461 posts

@mrschickpea: @MrsB2012: that is *so* annoying. I used to have beautifully regular 26-28 day cycles, and my last one post-m/c#1 I didn't ovulate until CD22. I almost lost my mind and the poor October POAS group took the brunt of it not sure, but thinking the m/c's might be pushing me into the long cycle club.

  29. marley

    kiwi / 706 posts

@pwnstar: @pwnstar: yes! I got 4 highs and then a peak. This month I ovulated on the day I got my peak. And I tested the night before (high) and morning (peak). These things are weird. Or maybe it's just my body.

  30. mrschickpea

    clementine / 928 posts

@LCTBQE: thank you! It's been a long 7 months! We're super hopeful this month!

  31. mrschickpea

@pwnstar: so frustrating, I'm sorry! Hoping for your O soon!

  32. MrsB2012

    nectarine / 2466 posts

@mrschickpea: before my first, I O'd around cd16. Then after her it was around cd18-20. Now after my second, it's been cd 21-23! Its a longer wait for me to O then it is for the TWW after. Makes a cycle seem so long.

@pwnstar: that's so frustrating. It seems like a lot of people get lots of high days with those monitors. I've never used them, but just seems to be a lot of people saying that lately.

My boobs hurt today and I had AF like cramps. I guess we'll find out in a couple days. Not feeling too optimistic this month though.

  35. Mrs. D

    pear / 1852 posts

@WinterBee: My testing day is less than a week away, but I'm not feeling lucky this month for some reason either.

I felt better last cycle, lots of symptoms, but this month nothing so far! I got knocked up with our dd on our second cycle 4 years ago, so maybe I'm just psyching myself out because I know we're not likely to get so lucky twice.

Good luck to the four bees whose testing dates have passed, and to the ladies set to test before me next week!

My nipples and side boob hurt bad yesterday and I keep thinking AF is here with these cramps I'm getting. Just lots of (TMI) watery CM? I've also been so so thirsty today! I'm supposed to be testing tomorrow so I guess I'll find out if I'm just a crazy symptom spotter or not!
