@Running Elley: YES - i definitely say "ow" a lot more these days. I also smile, but ouch! sometimes little heels or elbows hurt - especially when they rub all the way from like, the belly button to the side and you can see it! weird! and sharp!

@hellobeeboston: Exactly! And I’ve been feeling a lot of stabby movements down low. Since baby is head down I don’t know whether he’s just wiggling his head back and forth or punching me or what but I swear it feels like he’s hitting some internal organ LOL.

@Running Elley: I have also been feeling his butt right under my ribs. Makes it difficult to lean over, tie shoes, stand up...anyone else starting to need help getting off the couch? I usually need a helping hand from dh now!

@hilsy85: haha, YES! this is our nightly ritual now - my husband gets up first and helps me up. so funny

@hilsy85: Yepp I definitely have trouble getting off the couch by myself! It’s funny because DH is tall and strong so when we’re over at my parents’ house he usually is the one to help my grandma (who has arthritis) get up. The easiest way for him to help her is for her to put her arms around his neck so he’s really just pulling her up almost into a hug. Lately he’s taken to helping me up that same way lol. I feel totally helpless but it’s cute

@Beebug: thanks! we've had such a hard time with names - but this one we both love & we have been tossing around for months, and it's the only one that has stuck!

I also feel like my bump isn't getting that much bigger, but when I look at my weekly bump pictures I realize it is - it's just so round now it's harder to notice! ha.

@hellobeeboston: You look great! And what a cute print you made. I got all the frames at Ikea. They're very inexpensive for a frame and mat.

@Running Elley: I definitely feel like he is right below my boobs. I feel a butt there or something. Something pushes on my right rib and it hurts! I don't mind it though.

It's crazy how much the movement has changed in just one week. I see my belly shaking around when he moves. I've also felt some nubs rub along my belly. It surprises me sometimes and I wonder what body part that was.

    @Hilsy85 - love your pics!
@HelloBeeBoston - love love love James!
I have my 34 week appointment tomorrow. My belly is starting to feel big now and I'm noticing there is less room. I've got some pretty sharp pains when I move certain ways "down there"... I'm thinking it might be my hips widening? I have a prenatal massage tomorrow too... Yay! I can't wait!!!

hi ladies! We had our growth u/s this afternoon and baby boy looked great! He's measuring 4lbs3oz, so right on track--if he continues to grow at this rate he'll be between 7 and 7.5lbs at birth! He had his right hand up by his face so we didn't get any good shots, but we could see some chubby cheeks! DH and I are so excited to meet him

In other news, I got an email earlier this week from the job that laid me off in June, asking me to come back two days a week part time. I figured I might as well--hopefully it'll help the next few weeks go by more quickly. So as of tomorrow, I'll be back at work (10 hours a week, anyway).

@hilsy85: It sounds like you had a great day! I think 2 days a week of work will be perfect- enough to get you out of the house but still with plenty of time to rest Congrats on the good growth scan! I'm dying to know how much baby weighs!!

I asked my doctor about the sore feet thing, she suggested I not go barefoot throughout my house, especially because our mainfloor is all hard floors, no carpet! Will help support my feet, and ease the pain apparently, I don't know if I love going barefoot too much, and might bare the pain for that reason!

I had my bi-weekly appointment yesterday, I wasn't supposed to go again until Sept 19th with her availability, but she said she'll see me next week, rather than that long stretch, so back I go Tuesday!

I was 183lbs! So up 43lbs total, belly was measuring 33cm, I am 34w tomorrow, so close enough, bp was 128/64, baby's heartbeat was harder to find but between 120-125 bpm, typical for her!

Asked a few good questions, that I am happy to have answered, and cannot believe September is nearly here and we are all going to say we're having a baby NEXT month! I remember doing that when it got to June for our July wedding, saying "next month"!

Crib bedding is DONE, going to get it washed and on today, I think it's really going to bring the room together, though I still want to find a gray crib skirt (one on Amazon I love, but of course it's not on Amazon.ca) to interchange with what I've made, nothing plain, gray in stores around here that's for sure.

I have had some prints printed from that link @mrskc: sent me (thanks again!) but am now looking for frames! Also looking for frames for a pinterest idea I loved a long time ago, and then wall decor will also be complete -woo!

Here is a bump pic from yesterday

@hilsy85: YAY on a good growing baby boy, and a part time job. That should help the next couple weeks fly by.

I have my 35 week appointment on Tuesday, I'm intrested to see how my BP is doing. I haven't had any more "episodes" so I'm hoping that means it is back down to normal. I also wish I knew how big DD was, maybe I'll get an U/S, we will see! Haha doctor thought last time that she was felt like she was growing right on track so that was nice to hear!

@jessiejo17: @Running Elley: Thanks! It was really great to see him and hear his heartbeat.

@Beebug: You look great, mama! I know--so crazy that as of TOMORROW we'll be able to say we're due next month!

@Beebug: Ah tomorrow it'll be NEXT month. I've been thinking about that all week and I am just soooooooo excited about it. You look great!

Bump picture from last Sunday at 32.5 weeks!

@Hilsy85 - that's great that your appointment went well and you're going to be working 2 days a week - that's the perfect amount to help the time go by fast!
    @BeeBug & @RunningElley - Ya'll look soooooo cute!!!

I had my 34 week appointment yesterday and everything was great. Our doc hasn't given us size estimates yet, but says everything is on target. I go back in 2 weeks... then it's EVERY WEEK!!! It's hard to believe it's so close!
I also had my monthly pre-natal massage last night... if ya'll haven't gotten one, if you can splurge and get one - DO IT! I feel sooooo much better after! I'm going to go back in 2 weeks and then start every week after that.

@hilsy85: So glad baby boy is doing great! And that part time works sounds nice.

@Beebug: You look great! Excited to see your nursery once it's all done.

@Running Elley: So cute! I love your outfit. I saw you thread about leggings and sweaters and that sounds like an awesome idea for after baby arrives. I think I'm going to try that too. Especially since I know I won't be able to fit into my jeans.

@CarrieLouWho: Glad your appointment went well.

I had my 32 week appt yesterday. All is well. Baby's heartbeat sounded great. He is head down with his butt up under my boobs and his back along my right side just like I thought. Hope you ladies have a great labor day weekend! I'm so excited for the extra day off on Monday.

@CarrieLouWho: Thanks! I've been dying for a prenatal massage! It's on my to do list for sometime this month!

@jessiejo17: Thank you I'd wear it ALL the time if I could. I don't think I'll ever go back to non-maternity leggings!

@mrskc: Exactly! Plus it never gets SUPER cold here so we can totally get away with just sweaters

I missed the best window to wear that shirt that I have on in the bump pic, I think I am definitely done with it now.....little tight!

I don't have any comfy, loose clothes......all my loose stuff is pretty or work appropriate.

So I have one of DH's undershirts/plain white tshirts on, and my belly is totally hugging it, too funny. I think DH and I weigh about the same now

Such a busy day, the crib bedding looks fantastic in the room, but I want to make a pillow case or frilly/for pretty pillow with the extra fabric still, looks so plain and empty in the crib for now!

I need a lamp still, not sure what colour to go with.

We loaded up at Costco today, DH is separating all the meat, I will do a big meal plan for the week's ahead, for the freezer meals I am going to do, I think I am going to one of our local farmers and asking for straight from farm meat to do those up! Will be nice to have more in house, and require less trips to the grocery store.

Hope everyone has a great long weekend, it's beyond silly hot here (heat alerts and such!) and I am not leaving the house for too long, stay cool in the AC!
