LO had a rash and neither coconut oil nor our cloth-safe diaper cream were helping. I started using butt paste with liners, but the liners slid a few times and butt paste got on a few diapers. Of course it didn't come out in the wash ugh. What now? Strip them? Bleach? I haven't noticed repelling yet, but I know I need to remove the marks/stains. They are BG 4.0s. What do I do??

I would do a soak in hot water and wash as usual first. Bleach plan b!

That happened to me and I ended up having them stripped.

I would email Cotton Babies (who makes BG's), they were helpful when I was having stink issues.

i would try a few extra hot washes without soap

I would just get a tub out with a tiny dot of blue dawn (cuts the greasiness of creams) and scrub a bit and soak/rinse with hot water. Then wash again and make sure no more suds come ou.t

Cotton babies suggested stripping them, so I guess that's what I will try. Btw did you know they no longer recommended rockin green???

Just thought I'd throw out there that I recently found a zinc-oxide diaper cream that's CD safe: the honest company diaper cream. We finally are free of disposables!

I had no idea abt RNG either! I emailed cotton babies that was what I was using, and they said it's off their recommended list. Let me know if you want the updated list, and I will post it.
