I just saw the news about the tornado, my heart is aching... I hope you and yours are safe.

A friend of mine lives in the midst of it. Her house was amazingly fine, but other houses in her neighborhood were leveled. It's really devastating to see all the pictures of the mess.

I'm an OK native, and even though we're exposed to tornadoes all the time, devastating ones like this suck! Poor Moore seems to be the main target every year....

Like @Alivoo01: I'm an Oklahoma native and tornadoes are so scary and sudden. I lived in Tulsa so we didn't have a whole lot there (they tend to strike rurally, for whatever reason -- more buildings = more wind to break things up?) but there was literally a warning every time it rained.
My birth mom and her family live in Oklahoma, but they were out of harm's way, thank goodness.
