What is everybody watching? Who are you cheering for? Are the rest of you as in love with Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir as I am?
I'm currently at work, livestreaming the Canada/GBR curling game - it's supposed to be background noise but I'm actually deeply deeply involved. I really don't care that much about the summer games but man, I love the Winter Olympics.

@erinbaderin: Loving the figure skating - DH is into the curling...I love winter olympics much more than summer. But I grew up in Calgary, which hosted the winter olympics in 88, so I may be biased that way.

Last night I wanted to catch figure skating, my favorite sport, but NBC wasn’t showing it until prime time. I’m not sure if that meant it would be live or not, but man the taped packages the hour before were a bore.

I agree- I enjoy the winter far more than the summer. I like the figure skating, snowboarding half-pipe, luge, bobsledding, and speed skating. The downhill skiing is fun for a bit too.
In the summer I pretty much only watch the gymnastics and a bit of swimming. I'd love to watch some of the lesser known sports, but it seems like the only thing they put on TV is running, which I don't find very entertaining after a few minutes.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Last night they started on NBCSN at 8pm (live). Supposedly they were going to start airing on NBC proper at 9:45, but I never changed the channel to find out if they did. I'm not sure if all figure skating events will follow that broadcasting schedule, but it's worth checking other NBC channels if they're in your cable package. I wouldn't have known where to watch either if I hadn't happened to see Johnny Weir's instagram story where he mentioned it.

I absolutely love sports. But I hate most sports culture! It’s a conundrum, lol! I love the Olympics and have DH rolling his eyes at me every night because DD is telling him about all the sports we’ve watched on TV!
I watched the Norway/Russian athletes curling match and it’s so fun to watch! Perfect game for TV.
