Do you still get up to do a diaper change in the middle of the night once they've started to sleep through?

No diaper change all night. I put her in overnight diapers.

My LO didn't start sleeping through the night until he was a year so I continued diaper changes during the night until then. It probably would have been different if he had slept through the night at 6-9 months, I probably would have let him sleep in that case.

Nope. Unless they wake up, their diapers should handle the pee. If they don't then either the diapers are too big or too small or the brand simply doesn't cut if for night diapers.

If the baby is able to sleep through the night, I wouldnt disturb them with a diaper change, I would just change them first thing when they wake up

We use cloth, and we have an extra insert in there for overnight pee's.

No diaper change. My LO's a light sleeper so I don't bug her when she's sleeping!

Change. But she barely wets her diaper at nights.

@anewme. I've looked it up because I was weirded out at first too. Everything said don't worry about pee as long as the diaper can hold it you're fine, but if you smell a poo change it. Especially if its a girl.

No. We're so fortunate to have an 11 week old that sleeps 8 hours pretty consistently. We don't wake her to change her diaper. Maybe she's just not big enough to worry about leakage yet?

Nope. We use overnight diapers so there's no need for a change unless she poops. I felt guilty about it too, bc she started at like 6 weeks, but her pediatrician said "that's why they make overnight diapers. If there's no rash or infection then it's not an issue.".
