It looks like my LO is in the minority and transitioning to one nap already. I was just curious what time your LO took his/her nap.

My sister's kids always took the nap right after lunch, around 12:30 or so.

My LO usually only takes one nap. If she's feeling good she usually is ready between 1230-130. If she's feeling sick, it's moved up an hour. Though even when she moves up her naptime and has a cold she still won't take an afternoon nap. She usually wakes up around 730-8 and goes to bed around 8.

Our daycare started one nap at 12 months.
They do circle time or a buggy ride at 10 to keep them awake, lunch at 11 and naps by 12.

@Thehistoryofus: that is super helpful! All my friends are still at 2 naps so I feel better knowing that daycare does 1 nap for 12 month olds!
I put my LO down around 10:30 bc she seems tired but she just plays so then I get her up and feed her lunch at 11:15 and then she plays and goes down for a nap around 12:30. I may put her down a little earlier for her nap and move bedtime earlier too...

My son takes one nap at 1:30.
A lot of my friends have mentioned that their daycares also transition to 1 nap at 12 months. Might be more common than you think!

I think it takes some experimenting with how long they can stay up. We started around 12:30 after lunch and pushed back to 1:30 within a few weeks, and that's what it has stayed at for a few months now.
