I had a long skinny baby girl and found that carters stuff fit her body type pretty well. Don't know if the same is true for boys but it might be worth a try. I found baby gap and circo from target to be more suited to wider shorter babies.

Stay away from H&M - I find the waistband doesn't fit before the length is outgrown...

Tea has been great for my skinny Minnie. I get their skinny jeans and then cinch in the elastic a as far as they'll go. Works like a charm.

Sadie wears 99% leggings, because that's the only thing that will (kind of) fit her waist and be long enough. We've had success with the Carter's pants with the adjustable waist too!

I buy my skinny guys jeans at childrens place, crazy eights, or Meijer. They all sell skinny adjustable jeans.

Carters works well for LO, sometimes Old Navy. In the pricier range, Tea Collection tends to run small in general and Crewcuts is long and narrow. Gap has never worked for him other than the banded pants! In general, legging style pants work best, and if you can find Carters pants with a true drawstring get as many as you can.

I look in the girls section for solid color leggings or jeggings for DS. I think they look so cute on him!

Carters leggings worked for us! LO is 5th percentile weight and 50th for height so she is skinny skinny!

Carters while little, then I've had success with most brands of skinny jeans, right now we are in Gymboree. (SUPER skinny kid here...)

Splendid makes good skinny leggings. they're a little long a bit pricey but fit A better than any other brand.

Cotton On has unisex leggings that work great and The Children's Place seems to be for tall skinny babies too. Carters and Old Navy works for most things but usually not until he is well within the age range. DS is 3.5 months and a long skinny thing.

Carters and Old Navy leggings fit LO's tiny frame the best, Target Circo brand jeggings were good too however I didn't think they held up as nicely as the other two.

My LO is a girl but the Carters and Target (Circo) leggings were the only things that would stay on her because she's so lean.
