What's bugging you this week?
For me, it's this comment pulled from Facebook, written by a teacher, who is now going to be a SAHM: "No one read the summer memo about sleeping in...grrr!"
Yeah, I have some choice words for comments like these.

I am peeved at our accountants, they take forever, like over a week, to respond to my emails!!

My commute, and people not offering an almost 8 month pregnant woman a seat. Seriously, I was standing directly in front of a young couple sitting in the handicapped seats on a bus, which starts and stops pretty jerkily. The guy made eye contact with me and still didn't offer me his seat. I don't even usually need a seat but in this case it was pretty hard to keep my balance. Jerk.

the fact that or landlord decided to tear up our backyard without notice 1.5 weeks before LOs birthday party.

@regberadaisy: We have some neighbors that are the opposite, they never mow the lawn.
@MamaMoose: That irks me too!!

Multiple typos on a professional website. I'm a photographer and a few of my fellow photographers can't bother to run a spell check. One or two is understandable. I'm guilty of typos, too! But I would be less likely to hire someone that repeatedly misspells basic words. It's so annoying!
pomegranate / 3863 posts
@MamaMoose: I cannot comprehend how this can be so difficult for some. Or people who will reply all, but take certain people out of the email chain because they don't want them to see their reply.

@regberadaisy: YUP! we have a 850sqft apt so doing the whole thing inside is kind of impossible! Hopefully it will be presentable by next week!

I'm sick of everything having to do with moving cross country. I am also fed up with people responding to my furniture for sale ads on craigslist. Ugh, if you say you're coming over at 6, then come over at 6. Don't say you'll get back to me later and fall off the face of the planet. And for christ's sake, if the ad says pick-up only don't ask me if I can deliver, then act annoyed when i say no. I drive a mini cooper, a couch will never fit in there! Just go to lowes and rent a pickup like the rest of the world!

Oh def. my neighbors. I can't even keep track of who lives next door (it's a multi-unit house) and which kids belong to which adults. For the past few days the kids have been outside all day every day, screaming and carrying on. I don't mind normal kid noise, but a tantrum and/or screaming "Regarde, regarde, REGARDEEEEE" (look, look, LOOOOOOK) every time the boy goes down the slide is just too much....

Totally not having the fact that our builder chose yesterday to lay our new sod...as DH is out of town until Saturday night. Aaallllll of the sprinkling/watering/sod care/etc. is left to me. Lame.

@mediagirl: ooooh...those comments drive me crazy.
@Foodnerd81: Um...ahole! How hard is it to give up your seat?
My crazy co-worker is mine. She is absolutely nuts. Yesterday, she tried to get into an email war with me. And when I wouldn't respond to her craziness, she just kept emailing me. It took every ounce of patience I had not to go apesh*t on her.

Mine is that I'm about to spend Sunday through Thursday of next week solo parenting my two LOs. I thought a friend would be helping out more but she has to work and her boyfriend just got back from a year long mission trip so I mean, I get she's gotta see her man... But my ILs will be out of town at the same time, my parents live over an hour away and I'm just overwhelmed already.

@mediagirl: Yepppp. Highs in the high 80s the next few days... We didn't have the extra cash for a sprinkler system this year, so I have to move all the sprinklers by hand--which isn't awful, but then I have to go out and disconnect the sprinklers, then spray by hand all of the parts the sprinkler doesn't reach (the sides of the house/lot, the corners and edges of the lot, the grass on the other side of the sidewalk)...
I'm so paranoid I'm going to screw it up! I already had a little "issue" and slipped when trying to move a sprinkler off of a hill/slope yesterday and put a foot-dent in the grass...oops.

DH somehow gets all of his shoes out and laying around the door every day. It's one of those things not worth fighting over, but annoying.

@regberadaisy: Ack! our neighbor mows like 3 times a week. So weird.. doesn't he have anything better to do?!
pomegranate / 3160 posts
@scg00387: Hahahahah, yes. Like, he'll come in, step out of them, then just keep going, leaving the shoes RIGHT in the middle of the entry? Then by the end of the day there somehow manages to be like, 3 pairs accumulated there?
honeydew / 7687 posts
@ms.janedoe: SERIOUSLY! Glad I'm not the only one. Last night there were two pairs of tennis shoes, golf shoes, flip flops, and two pairs of dress shoes. w.t.f.

I am pretty sure I missed trash pick up and I had some stinky trash that needs to be picked up. It's never picked up before 11 am and I put it out there at 9 because I forgot last night. Man.

People in the parking garage at work that go 1 mph over the speed bumps. Yes, they are to prevent you from speeding through the garage. No, you do not have to coast over them. Ugh!

Yesterday I was waiting in line and the woman behind me kept stepping up to stand NEXT to me, and she was so close, her arm kept brushing mine. This went on for a good 10 minutes, and I was so irritated!
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
@betsyboop: Why do people need to get so close? That happens on the subway a lot-- like, I'm standing on a non crowded platform, and someone comes and stands directly next to me. Um... the train is not here, it's not crowded, why are you so close?
@ms.janedoe: @scg00387: Um... DH and I are both guilty of this one. We are trying to be good about taking shoes off when we come in the house. But now that means we will get like, 2 feet from the door, remember, slip off our shoes and keep going, instead of going back and lining them up against a wall or something. It's an improvement for us-- at least they are jumbled near the front door instead of scattered across the living room!

I had to run an errand today and a car drove RIGHT FREAKING BESIDE ME for miillless. I'd speed up, she'd speed up. I slow down, she slows down.. I can't stand when people do that! DH thinks i'm nuts but I hhaaateee when people drive right beside eachother or drive so their front bumper is equal with the other lanes back bumper so no one can pass. AH

Mine is one of my co-workers. Besides her general annoyingness, I had bought a box of donuts for the office to thank them for something. Someone took half a donut and she flipped out saying "People should just take the whole donut, it's not going to kill them, I hate when people do that shit!"
I don't know why but it made me son angry. Some people don't WANT to pig out on a whole donut, what is WRONG with only taking half? I just don't understand why something that doesn't even affect her makes her hate on them?? I actually flipped out on her for it.

People who keep asking to visit when we've repeatedly told them we aren't ready yet. One friend of DH's literally texts every day to ask. I'm overwhelmed as-is without playing hostess. LO is two weeks old, he eats pretty much every other hour for an hour, has reflux so he's crazy fussy, and my tailbone was broken during delivery. I'm topless and sitting on a foam donut cushion rocking a screeching baby 90% of my day. Sure, come on over!!

LO's daycare. She got swim lessons for her kids that were nearly an hour before our pick up time and thought it was cool to tell us we had to pick up LO early every Wednesday, indefinitely. Ummm. NO. That's a scheduling issue you created. It's not our problem. (she could tell I was livid so she texted me saying that she moved them).

You know, I need to add this one too:
People who post random unrelated crap on your status', photos, shares, etc.
User: I had the best date last night with my husband @ Doodley Do's Ranch!
User's Aunt: Just so you know, there's a whale in my back yard.
Obviously I've exaggerated in my example, but SERIOUSLY. Why not just write on their wall? Your comment has nothing to do with their date so just shut up. lol... I'm clearly grumpy today.

@.twist.: haha! I HATE that! DH's older relatives are the worst status-jackers ever.

@.twist.: made me LOL about FB statuses I don't have anyone who does that, but it sounds annoying
@grizz: Ahh that sounds awful! I have no idea if this is helpful, but I had a previously fracture tailbone that was bruised during delivery.. once my stitches had healed a little I had the most comfort sitting on my legs under me, straight back. I looked awkward and sometimes my feet fell asleep, but it gave me so much relief (for some reason my butt does not fit a donut).
papaya / 10473 posts
@scg00387: I tried that and it's a win! My hips are wider than the donut so it wasn't much comfort. Thank you!!
