Aww, fellow due date groupie... I know exactly how you are feeling. With my first pregnancy I was overdue and the only one left in the group aaand didn't get induced until midway through the next month. Trust me, I know the range of feelings you have.

You probably know my birth story already from this month. I literally had no indication that I was going into labor later that night. I went to bed. Intense contractions woke me up, 2 minutes apart and painful. Two hours later I was in the car on my way to the hospital when my water broke and the baby was crowning. Eight minutes of pushing (including the pushes in the car) and LO2 came shooting into this world. Labor was 2.5 hours with no signs before it began. I was a few days early.

Hang in there. The waiting and not knowing is so so hard. But the reward at the end makes up for all of it.

i woke up to go for a walk (planned for a day date to have lunch and a movie) and my water broke a minute after i peed! went for a 2 mile walk, contractions started and then had her within 7 hours of my water breaking!

Worked all day thinking i just had indegestion then realized it was labor right as work was ending around 5pm!

I spent all day in the kitchen (like, 10 hours), and when I woke up the next morning my water broke as I was getting out of bed.

Went to the doctor--0 cm dilated. Two days later, I went to work, yoga, made dinner, went to sleep. Woke up around midnight, two contractions, water broke, had baby three hours later.

@Snowdrop: I was asleep when my water just broke out of the blue. Never know...really rooting for you hunny!!

With my first I was at 41+2 and no baby in sight. We had an appointment scheduled to talk induction that day. At 4am I suddenly started having contractions. At 9:58am my son was born. I'd never had any signs that it would happen that night.

I spent all day cooking freezer meals at my parents. I came home, lied down for a bit and felt off so I texted dh and asked when he was coming home because he was golfing 45 min away. I took a bath, he came home, and right after that I started contractions.

38w3d. Never had a single contraction. Lying on the couch and my water broke all over the place.

@blackbird: It was scary! I couldn't not push. Poor DH, my water soaked his leather seat in his car lol

At my 40w2d appointment I was not dilated at all, and we were talking induction at 41 weeks. Contractions woke me up in the middle of the night at 40w5d, doctor's appointment that afternoon I was 2-3cm. Went to the hospital at 8pm and was 4cm and in active labor.
Baby was born 24 hours later via csection, but it was due to her position (labor stalled b/c she was stuck).

Went to drop DS off at daycare, went to work, threw my baby shower that day, picked up DS, unloaded a ton of gifts from car, made spaghetti, not a sign at all of impending labor. Put DS to bed, read a book, paid some bills, tried going to bed, tossed and turns. Had a contraction, followed more nonstop ones, delivered 20 minutes later (or less.)

After spending most of the day walking around stores and then unpacking, I just texted my Mom sorry that they didn't go away for their annual mountain trip cause nothing was happening over here! Then I got up off the couch to fold laundry and my water burst all over the floor.

Felt totally fine Wednesday night, woke up Thurs at 5 am to pee and my water broke!! It really was "fine one minute, in labor the next"!

Never had ANY signs or symptoms of impending labor. Was home all day on New Years day (39+5) doing lots of house stuff and taking down Christmas decorations and didn't feel anything weird at all. At 11:45PM my water broke and baby girl was born at 6:37AM. There's definitely hope! Thinking of you!

I wasn't overdue, but I decided to wrap up work a week before my due date to tie up loose ends and relax before baby. I finished the nursery the first day, got a pedicure/wax and hair cut the follow afternoon, and decided to prep some more freezer food and finish up laundry in the evening.

I never had so much as a Braxton Hicks my entire pregnancy so figured I still had a long way to go, but as I bent over to pick my husband's dirty socks off the floor.... sploosh.

Called the hospital and was told to come in right away and if things didn't get moving they'd induce me in the morning. LO was born 10 hours later.

I've never had a contraction outside a hospital. If/when there's a second baby, I'm probably going to freak the heck out if I labour at home for a while!

I was a week overdue and remember lying in bed at around 0530 in the morning and feeling / hearing a "pop" then thinking "well that was kind of painful" and realising it was my waters breaking. Irregular contractions started immediately, by 1030 I was in active labour and by 2000 I was 5cm dilated. Unfortunately labour stalled later in the night and even with an epidural and syntocinin (same as Pitocin) I wasn't fully dilated till 1200 the next day. Baby finally arrived 2.5 hours later!

I was 40+2 doing work from home thinking I would be pregnant forever, and started having mild contractions in the afternoon that just got worse and worse and that was it!!
