@MrsLilybugg: Thanks! I actually did have a bath, it was great.

@marionberry: I might have to look into that stuff too! Thanks for the review. We'll see how this cycle goes and then maybe I'll try it.

    Happy weekend everyone!

Almost November now... I definately o'd yesterday so I'm officially in the wait!! Hows everyone else going?

@mrssquirreld: I'm just in the waiting to O stretch. I'm much calmer this month, having a month off from stressing (mind, I said that last month at this point!)

I O'd on Thurs. Now I'm in symptom spotting mode. I'm soooo impatient!

@futuremama: Hey we're testing buddies! Good luck to you.

I'm not sure when I O'd. Probably on Friday, but I've been having a lot of cramps on my left side today and yesterday. Either way I'm in the wait now.

Please add me to the list!

What are you thankful for: I'm thankful for the affordability of the new community acupuncture office in my neighborhood. And for fall, and caramel apple lollipops.

O date: No clue. Let's just guess November 13th.

TTC Cycle: Ugh. cycle 9/ month 10.

    POAS/AF date: November 27th.

    Hey, I'll join in

What I'm thankful for: wonderful friends & family

O date: I think around Oct. 21st. I don't chart or temp but I typically feel a certain pain and symptoms so I go by that.

TTC cycle: #2 (I had a chemical pregnancy in #1)

    POAS/AF date: November 6th (that's my guess!)

  8. futuremama

    clementine / 854 posts

@alayaya: I've been having left side pains and twinges too. Do you think 4 DPO is too early to test?

@futuremama: Maaaaaybe just a little... hehe.

I have a feeling the next week and a half are going to go by pretty slowly

What are you thankful for: My husband, friends and family and of course HB!!

O date: 16th but I'm starting on Femera so I don't know what that will do.

    TTC Cycle: cycle 9

POAS/AF date: Nov 30th maybe... if not I might I should be in the Dec POAS thread.

I haven't been charting, but last weekend was crazy busy and I haven't been showing any signs of ovulating. I'm hoping it's just late and not that I skip this month.

So my IUI was cancelled because we were traveling and got stuck in North Carolina an extra day. I don't think I'll be POAS this cycle.

  13. alayaya

    kiwi / 629 posts

@Leialou: Aw I'm sorry! That sucks. Is there still a chance without the IUI?

    @evansjamie: Fingers crossed for you!

@alayaya: we have a very slim chance of conceiving naturally, but there is always hope! Once we knew we weren't going to make the appointment we took matters into our own hands.

@leilalou: Glad to hear that despite the odds, you're trying anyway!

  16. alayaya

@Leialou: Well I'm glad you are still trying and hoping. Even if the odds are slim, there is always hope and you never know. Good luck

I want to be hopeful for this month, but I'm so tired of having my heart broken over and over...

  17. BSB

hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts

Well, I'm completely skipping this month.
The first IUI that I had planned on starting this month will be delayed til next month because the DH will be out of town when I ovulate.

Hope there's lots of Turkey Smuggling BFP this month.

I'll be joining the Santa Smuggling thread in December.

Just wanted to pop in and say I'm lurking and crossing my fingers for all of you! I'm hopefully joining back in the POAS club in December (waiting for period post m/c) and hope none of you will be joining me next month

  19. glimmersnaps

    apricot / 491 posts

So sorry to hear about your loss @savanarunner!

I woke up at 3am ravenously hungry and nauseated. I folded on my resolve not to test until AF doesn't show up. Took an EPT and got a faded line! I'm cautiously optimistic after a chemical pregnancy last month... But this month the symptoms are getting stronger, so I'm hopeful!

I think I'm going to wait for a BFP next week to tell DH, is that weird?

  20. mrsvdv

    apricot / 431 posts

@glimmersnaps: YAY!!! That's so exciting! Fingers crossed for a BFP next week! I get that you'd want to wait to tell your DH, it would be hard for me to keep quiet though!

  21. mrsvdv

Digital opk gave me a smiley face today!!! O-date is bit earlier than I thought, I hope can wait untill the 17th before POAS!!

  22. Foodnerd81

    wonderful cherry / 21504 posts

@glimmersnaps: Ooh good luck! I can see waiting to tell your DH, but, knowing me, it would be too hard to keep it to myself. So if you are starting to really freak out, I wouldn't hesitate to tell him, but if you are OK with it, I can see waiting.
@mrsvdv: Good luck! I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of changed O dates, at least in the Northeast with the storm. Stress, weird barometric pressure... I expect things to be a little whacky!

@Mrs squirreld: I'm going to test on the 4th... I work 12hrs on Monday and am having way too many symptoms to wait til then to POAS. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

@bluestriped bee: So sorry to hear!!! :((

Hey guys, first post here We've been NTNT for months but this is our first cycle TRYING! My dates/#'s are probably right but a little bit of a guess as I'm getting to know my cycle

What are you thankful for: Being able to work from home! Makes the BD easier since DH works nights. Call it a "lunch break" lol.

    O date: I THINK 10/23. O'd early on PD8 it looks like.

TTC Cycle: Official #1! Been NTNT for a while though. But if I really do ovulate early like I saw this month then that would explain our lack of success.

POAS/AF date: POAS on the 7th because I'm leaving for a vacay that day! AF is expected on the 12th so if the 7th is BFN I'll retest that week just in case.

So happy to "meet" you all!

So I suppose I should join this thread, as October is now over...

What are you thankful for: wonderful friends and family and a beautiful home.

O date: Oct. 17, 18, or 19 and then somewhere around the week of November 18 if I get AF soon...

TTC Cycle: Still cycle 6, although this is the first cycle I temped and used OPKs.

POAS/AF date: AF was expected Oct. 30, but she still hasn't reared her ugly head. 2 BFNs so far, but I guess I'll have to keep hoping until I get one or the other... I will probably test again on Saturday.

@glimmersnaps: Oh good luck!! How exciting! Keep us posted

@KJfromNJ: Welcome! Good luck to you.

@JamieLee: I hate the waiting game! Fingers crossed that AF doesn't show and you get your bfp on Saturday!

I couldn't find the October thread...did everyone move here? I am 13 DPO and still getting BFNs. Sad because I had such a good feeling about October! No AF but..

Is anyone scared about November conception = August baby? Definitely not my ideal in being huge and pregnant in the summer but we are not taking the month off.

(Will update with my O date later.)

    November-
    TTC #2, month 3

    clementine / 930 posts

@AnonMom: I was thinking the same thing, but at this point, I don't even care. September baby would mean the same thing, and I'm not taking two months off...we'll all just have to suffer if we get BFPs! Maybe we can have a "Hot and Hormonal" post next summer...

@Mrs squirreld: Please put me on for Nov 13th!! I'm at the end of my Clomid cycle and my fertility center is shut down due to the hurricane so I'm in a true TWW!

I am thankful for my DH and my friends! I love my family too, but DH and friends are my core support group

@AnonMom: I am at 13DPO and also got a BFN this morning. AF is due tomorrow or Saturday for me. I had a really good feeling that October was my month also. Sigh....

And I agree with @JamieLee:, I don't care what month I conceive, I'm beyond ready to see a BFP already!!

  35. kjpugs

@Alivoo01 I hope AF doesn't come and you have a late test response! FX... and babydust to everyone on here! I live in FL so if this cycle or the next two (or three!) work I will be hot and ANGRY!

@Alivoo01: big hug to you and I'm still holding onto a tiny sliver of hope for both of us!

    @AnonMom: Thanks! Me too!

@KJfromNJ: First off, welcome!! Secondly, thanks girl!! I hope so too, but it's starting to look bleak...

That's awesome you get to work from home all the time! What do you do?

  38. kjpugs

    grapefruit / 4862 posts

@Alivoo01: I work for a huge hardware and security company, there's really not an office here (I just moved here from Indiana) and I am regional meaning I cover all of the state except the panhandle. Luckily not much travel is involved! My husband is a chef (at a VERY well known very HAPPY place if you know what I mean) and works nights so we are hoping if we're blessed with a LO we can find an in-home sitter for a few hours (12-5 or so) three or four days a week (his "weekends" are usually 1 day, and on a weekday.) If that works out I will be VERY lucky and happy.

Anddddd that was my life story. Working from home (alone!) means I have too much time to think!!!!! How long have you been trying? I have PCOS so I'm not SUPER optimistic but I'm glad to be taking charge and doing as much as I can. I recently lost 40+ lbs (and still trying to lose!) so I'm hopeful that will help too.

  39. Foodnerd81

    wonderful cherry / 21504 posts

@AnonMom: I have thought about that and I certainly would prefer to not be super pregnant in the summer in general, but definitely not enough to stop trying my hardest to make it happen! We get a lot of ice and snow in the winter here, so I figure it's either big and hot in the summer, or big and off balance on the ice, so neither is really a good option. If it had happened the first month we pulled the goalie, it would have been perfect (end of Aug to make the baby, have it end of May or early June). There are ups and downs to any time.

Pretty sure I'm having some O cramps right now, so hoping my temperatures confirm and I can test a little earlier than planned!

  40. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@AnonMom: I started TTC in April because I didn't want to be preggo in the summer, but here I am 8 months later and still not pregnant! I'm learning that (in general) you can't plan for these things. At this point I'd be thrilled to be super huge in the summer, haha.
