I had a C-section, so I don't know if that matters, but my hospital actually gave me one to wear like on day 2. It was just like a giant white elastic band with a giant velcro band so it wasn't fancy or anything, but once my husband or the nurse helped me get it on tight enough, I felt a lot better - I felt like my posture was better, I wasn't flopping around everywhere. I didn't wear it for more than a few days - I think after a week I didn't bother because the swelling was going down and I was sitting in the recliner all day long. I kept it and I'll use it again with LO2.

@Keybee: I used the belly bandit and I think it helped. Not gonna lie, it was super uncomfortable and I only wore it around the house because I don't care what the website says, you cannot hide that thing under clothing. I also only wore it for maybe 4-6 weeks but that was enough time.

I wore the belly bandit starting around day 4 and kept at it until around week 5 or 6. I don't know how I would look if I hadn't used it, but I am happy with how my midsection looks today (6m pp)
