My son is having a birthday party this Saturday at our house. He's turning 2, but he has an older brother, so the ages of the guests will range from 2-5 years old. We have a nice backyard with a large deck for everyone to sit on. My boys recently got a new wooden playset, and we are planning to rent a bounce house for the party. The problem is the weather is calling for an 80% chance of thunderstorms for Saturday, so I'm pretty sure we won't be able to have the party outside. My options are to postpone the party until next weekend when the weather might be better or bring it inside.

I'm worried that if I postpone the party, the people who RSVP'd to come might already have plans and will no longer be able to make it. Also, I don't know if the weather will be nice next weekend, so we might be stuck postponing it yet again. But if I bring the party inside, I would worry about overcrowding (there are about 30 adults/kids coming), and also the kids being bored and potentially making a mess of my house with rough play. What would you do?
