@skibobrown: how old is she?

@skibobrown: has there been any recent changes? we went through a 6 month potty regression after J was born!

@Mamaof2: ditto, I was just thinking the same thing.

@skibobrown: Honestly, we tried everything, but she ended up just getting past it on her own. How bad are her accidents? Is she having a full on pee in her underwear and it's dripping down her legs? Or are they like she's trying to hold it in and getting distracted bc she wants to keep playing so she accidentally leaks?

We tried reward charts, incentives, taking her and putting her on at specific intervals - like after she wakes, after naps, after meals, right before we leave the house, before bed, positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement...

@skibobrown: how did this turn out for you? we've been potty training forever it seems like, but about a month ago (after a move and finally getting serious) i felt like we were there and DD (29 months) was totally day trained. she was finally telling us she had to go, held her pee for a 2 hour drive, no accidents at preschool. now all of a sudden, she's peeing her pants even at home where she's 10 feet from her potty. she knows where she's supposed to go and yet, i find her in a puddle of her own pee 3-4 times a day! i'm at the end of my rope because if i take her at timed intervals, she doesn't go. i'm about to lose it.

@birdofafeather: this was (is) us! Dd was day trained for a good month - very few accidents, going on her own, etc. then out of the blue she started peeing all.the.time. She would sit in a big puddle of pee and not even care. Daycare was changing her 5x a day. She wasn't telling us when she needed to go

I was starting to think she was too young, but she had done it for a whole month so I knew she could do it.

I was so tired of cleaning up messes and stressing out about it so I put her in pull ups and took a more relaxed approach.

All of a sudden she has started back up with asking to go, only wanting to wear underwear, being able to hold it again...I'm hopeful it will stick this time!

@Charm54: i feel like i might have to do this. we didn't use pull ups before in early training, but i thought diapers might be confusing her, so we used those for nighttime only and switched to "night night undies" for naps and "travel undies" for long car rides (we travel almost every weekend) which she kept dry for the most part (even for a 2 hour car ride, i was shocked!) and now she's peeing in everything, diaper, pull up, undies, even bottomless. her daycare/preschool has been great, but going from never having accidents there to having 3-4 a day.... i don't think they're gonna wanna put up with it for much longer.... and now that i think of it, the only thing that was different in those previous 2 weeks was that she wasn't in preschool due to a break and travel.... hoping she gets back on the train soon. or i will go to pull ups for preschool so i don't lose out on their goodwill!
