I feel like this is the potty training that will never end...

We started potty training DD (3 years) back in March during our preschool's spring break. We chose this time because we had two weeks off to really work with her and after several misses at attempted potty training, we were hoping her new vocabulary would lend itself to success. She would often announce that she was wet or dirty and asked to be changed. She has, in the past before we started training, successfully gone pee in the potty.

So we got our gear out, all clean, ready to go. Started a new chart and yes, even picked a bribe for when she was successfully potty trained. And we've been fighting the uphill battle ever since. DD successfully pees on the potty when prompted on a regular basis but rarely ever - I think maybe 3 times - makes it to the potty for poop. Which means disgusting sticky, stinky, and usually wet underwear. A few times it was bad enough I had to just throw the underwear away.

That isn't to say she doesn't know her body - she consistently stalls right before bed saying she has to go pee. And she will, without any prompting or help, instead of just peeing in her training pants. But she has this strange aversion to pooping in the potty - little or big - and still daily wets herself.

Any suggestions on how to finally get her fully potty trained? Tips tricks bribes? I am at my wit's end! Maybe diapers until middle school won't be so bad...
